Jewellers Brass Blowlamp BL11 Original, quality late 19th century all brass Jewellers Blowlamp stamped to the body for the maker "Moore & Wright Sheffield England". This example would have a fitted rubber tube attached to the brass tube and the body filled with methylated spirits, the top was removed and the fumes lit. Air blown through the rubber tube by mouth puts a jet of flame out of the blowlamp across the flame giving out a very fine jet of flame. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order and appears unused.

Librarians Book Grab BP19 Original, quality late 19th century librarian's book grab, used for reaching books from the upper shelves. This example has a bamboo pole with a cast iron lever to one end and brass pincer action grips to the other. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all has been fully overhauled. A great book grab, not easy to find today and complete and in good and working order.

Patent Carpet Stretcher CS2 Original, quality, 19th century, carpet stretcher in wrought iron and cast iron, with the original turned fruitwood handle and brass ferrule. The cast iron arm to the base spikes is embossed with US patent details "Pat June 13.1876". Much of the original black paint finish has remained and all is complete and in good order. An early carpet stretcher, the first we have seen of this model.

Boxwood Rolling Ruler D20 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's brass and boxwood rolling ruler with the original brass dividers and fitted mahogany case. Steel Dustpan and Brush DP2 Original, quality 1920's pressed steel dustpan with much of the original black japanned paint finish and the tubular handle is designed to take a wooden handle if required. Brass Travelling Calipers N27 Original, quality pair of late 19th century brass and steel mapping calipers in a tapered tubular brass cover with a suspension eye. Norris 1.25" Steel Shoulder Plane P51 Original, quality unused late 19th century steel shoulder plane with the original 1.25" cutting iron, ebony infill and wedge, steel knocking button to the rear and stamped "Norris London" for the maker and "C.E.H" for the original owner. Above all this plane has never been put to work, it has the original machine engraved turned decoration to the sides of the steel body, albeit one side has rust damage to the surface, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. A top quality unused tool from a top maker, in fabulous condition and with a very special finish. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Boxwood Sash Window Router Plane P43 Original, quality late 19th century all boxwood router plane with handles to each end, an adjustable fence and a shaped steel cutter in the profile of sash window glazing bars. This unusual example has the original carpenters name "T. Knott" stamped on two sides and to the top for the maker "Gleave, Oldham Street, Manchester, established 1833". Complete and in good and working order. The first we have seen of this model.

Spiers Steel Jack Plane P40 Original, quality late 19th century steel bodied Jack plane with rosewood infill and a cast brass screw down cap. The sides of the steel body are dovetailed to the sole and have a decorative top edge. The rosewood infill consists of a shaped and square grip to the front infill and a closed handle / grip to the rear and the brass bolt down cap to hold the cutting iron is stamped "Spiers Ayr" for the maker Spiers of Ayr in Scotland, a well known tool and plane maker of this quality. The 2.5" steel cutting iron is stamped for its maker "Hearnshaw Bros". The saw grip closed handle has a nice worn area to the top point for comfort, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. A superb example in fine condition, not easy to find these today.

Marples Ebony Ultimatum Brace T134 Original, quality late 19th century brass framed ebony "Ultimatum" brace manufactured by William Marples of Sheffield. They do not come much better than this model or indeed this item. A top craftsman made, working tool. The wood infill is ebony and the frame, chuck and neck of the head are in cast brass. The brass side plates are impressed "William Marples Sole Manufacturers of the Ultimatum framed brace, Sheffield" with The Royal Coat of Arms and "By Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent" and the trademark "Hibernia" for W. Marples. The top of the ebony head has an inset disc also embossed with the maker's details. All original and complete and in good and working order.
