	Gibbons 18" Brass Door Bolt DB552 Original, quality 19th century heavy cast pink brass surface mounted door bolt with a steel ball top grip a sprung bolt and two replacement keeps made to suit giving the option. This super example has a rectangular shaped backplate with canted corners to the top and six screw holes and each keep has two screw holes. The reverse is impressed "Gibbons Wolverhampton" for the manufacturer. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. A beautiful door bolt no question. Another very similar brass door bolt may well be available ref code: DB551. Backplate 13" x 2.5". Total length 18.5". Keep 2.5" x 1.25" and 2.5" 1.75". Click on photo for larger and other views. 	Pair of Gibbons Oval Brass Door Handles DH086 Original, quality pair of late 19th century oval shaped pink brass door knobs. With a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches. The circular brass backplates, each have three countersunk screw holes for mounting and the reverse of the same is impressed for the maker "Gibbons of Wolverhampton". 	Pair of Gibbons Brass Door Pulls DP559 Original, quality pair of late 19th century cast pink brass door pull bars mounted on rectangular shaped sheet brass backplates with serpentine ends. The cranked bar pull handles have a turned decorative shape, each backplate has six countersunk screw holes for mounting and the reverse is impressed for the manufacturer "Gibbons Wolverhampton". 	Gibbons Brass Keyhole Surround, 4 available KC412 Original, quality cast brass rectangular shaped keyhole surround, circa 1900 with a large keyhole concave set and four countersunk screw holes for mounting. This example has been cut down from a door handle backplate originally manufactured by Gibbons of Wolverhampton. 	Gibbons Keyhole Surround, 21 available KC294 Original, quality, large cast pink brass circular keyhole surround, circa 1900, with a large dished keyhole, four countersunk screw holes for mounting and a groove just inside the outer edge. 	Gibbons Mortice Lock Key K210 Original, quality late 19th century steel key for a Mortice lock of more secure grade. The circular grip is stamped for the maker "Gibbons" ( of Wolverhampton ) to one side and "F.A.", "S" and "12" to the other. A super colour and quality. 	Gibbons Brass Rim Lock RL921 Original, quality late 19th century surface mounted brass door lock. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. The keep is the original and a replacement key has been cut to fit. This lock has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock and has a double throw to the lock. The end plate is detailed for the manufacturer Gibbons of Wolverhampton. 	Gibbons Double Key Action Mortice Lock RL907 Original, quality late 19th century brass mounted mortice lock set with the faceplate marked for the manufacturer "Gibbons of Wolverhampton", two replacement keys cut to fit, replacement brass keep plate made to suit and two original double entry keyhole surrounds. The interesting lock, the first we have seen has brass casing all around and the two keys, different in barrel size and detail both override each other when in use, the true purpose of the locking mechanism is unknown but all is complete and in good and working order. 	A Suite of 4 Matching Gibbons Brass Rim Lock Sets RL794 Original, quality set of four late 19th century matching cast pink brass surface mounted door locks manufactured by Gibbons of Wolverhampton. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. Replacement keeps have been made to suit and old keys altered to fit. These locks have the provision for a handle turn and a key lock and concealed fixings, so when mounted no screws are visible. Each lock has a keep, a pair of T bar handles, one fixed to a rectangular shaped backplate, mirroring the lock, one wrought iron concealed mounting plate and one key. Each lock is impressed to the fore end, Gibbons for the manufacturer. The internal mechanism is all brass. The model was well up the top of the range produced by Gibbons of Wolverhampton and such a great find having four matching with the handles. Three right handed and one left handed. All have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good and working order. Lock 7" x 4.25" x 1.25". 	Gibbons Brass Rim Lock and Ring Handles RL691 Original, quality late 19th century cast pink brass surface mounted door lock with the original cast brass keep, key and pair of drop ring handles. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles and has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock. Both the lock and the handles are stamped for the manufacturer "Gibbons of Wolverhampton". This super lock and keep have a flange all around with the screw holes for mounting, and the lock has a decorative serpentine shaped flange to the end. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The handles are not lacquered, but are included in the set for this lock, keep, key and handles have been together since new. A fabulous set by a well respected manufacturer.
