Original, quality late 19th century two piece cast iron money box in the form of a bank with the name above the coin slots to the back and front. The windows and doors are all open for effect and the silver walls and brown roof appears to be the original paintwork. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pre-war money box in a green finish as issued by "Midland Bank Ltd". This near unused example is fashioned to resemble a leather bound book and with a brass inner body. The coin slot is to the front edge is stamped "Tala" for the manufacturer and the underside edge has a recessed lock for a key and a hole marked "for notes". All is in super condition but without a key, which were held normally by the Bank.

This super example in the original paintwork has two fretted panels of a swallow bird, two coin slots to the top, with embossed "Bank" over each. Brass Milk Churn Money Box MB48
Original, quality 1920's pressed brass money box in the form of a good scaled down, 17 gallon milk churn with a tapered body, a coin slot to the top and a pull off lid to the underside. The lower rim is stamped with the registration number for the year 1923. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pre-war tin money box, in the form of a miniature gas stove in the original detailed paintwork with a key. The sides are both transfer decorated with "Eureka" the reverse "Made in England No555", the front, a simulated oven door and the top, the gas rings and grill. "Eureka, No 410" is also detailed to the door and is probably the model of the gas cooker represented. Some minor scratches to the finish otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Oxo Coronation Tin Money Box MB42
Original, quality red decorated and transfer printed Oxo tin issued to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937 that never took place. This tin when sold contained twelve oxo cubes and was designed to be used as a money box when empty of the cubes. The top shows King Edward on a coin and the reverse, Westminster Abbey. All is in superb condition clean and bright and complete and in good order. An unusual example issued by the Oxo Company.

The five slots will take sixpences, shillings, threepences and pennies or half crowns and the hole to the underside will take the banknotes. The brass plaque to the top details "Lloyds Bank Ltd" and the underside is marked with a patent number for the year 1921. I understand the banks would have held the key. All is complete and in good order.

The brass plaque to the top details "Barclays Bank Ltd Home Safe" and the underside is embossed "Made in England by John Lawton and Sons Ltd of Birmingham" and "Impressed provisional patent 1931". Edmondson's Toffee Tin Money Box T58
Original, quality 1920's/30's toffee tin in the original paintwork, modelled as a fireproof safe with the original lock and key. This deep red example has embossed simulated handles and fittings to the door of the safe ( the lid of the tin), and the key entry at the side. The inside of the lid has retained the original paper label for the toffee manufacturer and details "Edmondson's Hookers Malted Milk Toffee". Some minor scratches otherwise complete and in good and working order.
