Toleware Decorated Coal Box CB22 Original, quality mid 19th century Toleware Coal box with shovel. This super example has most of the original gilt decoration on the black japanned finish and even more special is the curved glass panel to the hinged lid at the front. The painting has been applied to the reverse of the piece of glass and portrays a very detailed river scene with a Victorian Gent fishing from the bank. The original cast iron handle to the top has been cleaned and lacquered and the replacement shovel to the back insert is of similar age to the box and the correct style of shovel. All is in super condition, complete and in good and working order.

Toleware Candle Box CB2 Original, quality mid to late 19th century cylindrical wall mounted tin candle storage tube with a hinged flap lid and hasp, two wall mounting plates and the original decorated finish. One small hole to the lid, otherwise complete and in super condition.

Steel Dustpan and Brush DP2 Original, quality 1920's pressed steel dustpan with much of the original black japanned paint finish and the tubular handle is designed to take a wooden handle if required. The brush, can you believe, has all its bristles intact and has them mounted up and over at the end and the turned wooden shaft and back are again with most of the Japanned finish. All is complete and in good and working order.

Toleware Decorated Fire Screen F273 Original, quality mid 19th century very unusual Toleware firescreen. This super example has much of the original gilt decoration on the black japanned finish and even more special is the curved glass panel to the centre with its back decoration of gilt detail and abalone shell fragments. The front has a ribbed brass knob in the original unpolished finish. The reverse has most of its original black japanned finish and its wrought iron mounting bracket but sadly the makers' plaque is missing but the evidence of where it was is very obvious. This was most probably manufactured by Pontipool. Complete and in good and working order.
