Doulton Gladstone Jug CC115 Original, quality, late 19th century, buff coloured and glazed stoneware jug, with a rear loop handle, a pouring lip and a variety of brown and pale green glazed sections. The front is decorated in tube lined detail "William Ewart Gladstone, Effort, Honest, Manful, Humble", "Effort Suceeds By Its Reflective Action Upon Character, Better Than Success". The front also has a cameo of Gladstone in relief. A super jug issued by Doulton in 1881 to 1914. 1902 Coronation Mug CC106 Original, quality, Royal Doulton porcelain mug, with a side handle and decoration commemorating the Coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. One side has The King and Queen Alexandra in colour beneath the crown, another side has a sepia print of a lion holding a shield detailing the coronation with "Coronation Postponed Until The 9th of August" and the third panel details the coat of arms for 'Stowmarket'. Doulton Aquarius Tilting Wash Jug J146 Original, quality late 19th century Tilting Toilet Jug on the original cast iron stand. The Toilet Aquarius was an invention by J.J. Royle of Manchester and manufactured by Royal Doulton. This example was manufactured between 1891 and 1902 and was a special commission for Abram French & Co of Boston USA. The cast iron stand has been painted white in the past which could be removed if required and bears the registration date of 1902. The jug has various transfer printed details to the underside and is decorated top side with yellow chrysanthemums and acanthus leaves detail. Both the jug and the cast iron stand are in good order with no chips or cracks etc. and are complete. A fabulous find, the third one I have had in the last 40 years.

Doulton 4 Piece Watchman Series Jug and Basin Set JB45 Original, quality, 'Watchman Series' four piece, matching, original Royal Doulton ewer and basin, chamberpot and soap dish, with lid. The undersides are all marked with the printed detail of the Royal Doulton logo with the lion on the crown and with the registration number for the year 1902. The bowl, chamberpot, soap dish and lid are all perfect, but the jug has a large crack which has been repaired with six old brass rivets, a super old repair. This set has a buff coloured background colour with sepia detail and the occasional infill of pale blue. The bowl is decorated inside with a continuous picture of timber framed houses with cobbled street and the outside has ribbon swags detailing "Watchman What Of The Night" three times. The jug, of a serious Art Nouveau shape, has timber framed building and a large picture of the Watchman with his lantern over his shoulder. The chamberpot again has timber framed buildings around the outside, the soap dish has similar to the lid with hanging lantern and calling rattles to the outside of the base, although the drainer from the soap dish is missing. Apart from the repair to the jug, all is complete, in superb order and very desirable.

Doulton Whisky Flask WD7 Original, quality late 19th century square whisky decanter in two colour glazed stoneware manufactured by Royal Doulton. This super example is damaged with a hairline knock to one corner and the handle to the top has been off and glued back on. The applied decoration to the body depicts a horse and hounds chasing a stag and the shoulders have leaves and flowers. The underside is impressed "Made For G. W. Scott & Sons Only" and "9544" and for the manufacturer "Doulton Lambeth England". The handle has an applied decoration "W" for whisky. Despite the damage this is all complete and a great looker with an old stopper included.
