Pair of Large Arts and Crafts Brass Door Handles, 4 pairs available DH557 Original, quality larger than average cast brass door knobs in the original, bronzed finish in a serious Arts and Crafts seed pod and leaves form, circa 1900. These super examples are for turning standard mortice locks and latches and have five countersunk screw holes to each backplate and a square bar for turning. Pair of Arts & Crafts Brass Door Handles DH554 Original, quality pair of cast pink brass egg shaped door knobs circa 1900, in a serious Arts & Crafts form. These examples, for use with standard mortice, lock have a square backplate with soft corners, four screw holes for mounting and plant seed pod shaped knobs. No maker's marks but we think these were manufactured by Dryad of Leicester. A superb pair of handles with a square steel bar included.

Arts & Crafts Brass Door Latch DL100 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's pink brass door latch in a serious Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts style with a copper ring handle to one side and a replacement keep made to suit copied from an original. This example will take a standard square bar for the handle, the latch bar is handed and will only operate one way round, the backplate has five countersunk screw holes for mounting and the keep has two and the latch bar is impressed "Hope" for the manufacturer. All has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.

Arts & Crafts Copper Firescreen F291 Original, quality circa 1900, Arts & Crafts copper firescreen in the original unpolished colour, embossed to the centre of the screen with a stylised galleon with oars and a large billowing sail. The blacksmith made wrought iron stand has shaped feet pointing inwards with upstands in the form of Neptune's three prong tridents. No maker's mark but all original, complete and in good and working order and finished in a coat of lacquer, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Arts & Crafts Copper & Wrought Iron Fire Screen F281 Original, quality late 19th century wrought iron and copper firescreen in the Arts and Crafts manner with the decorative blacksmith made wrought iron frame with a hand hold to the top and two pairs of feet. The rectangular hand embossed copper panel has the detail of a Viking ship with the sails billowing and oars to the side. The ironwork has been cleaned and lacquered and the copper polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Brass Fire Dogs FD99 Pair of original, quality late 19th century, cast brass fire dogs in the Arts and Crafts style, these were used to rest the fire irons upon - shovel, tongs and poker. This pair each have two front legs with arrowhead shaped feet, a central dimpled effect panel and a tapered stem with a dished circular finial to the top. Benson Copper Foodwarmer / Hotplate HP5 Original, quality all copper food warming / heating tabletop cabinet circa 1900. This most unusual item, the first we have seen, was designed by W.A.S Benson and is stamped to the underside of one leg strut "British Made" with the three hammers and "W.A.S.B." logo. This cabinet has a hinged drop down flap to the front, with the original turned ebony knob, two spirit burners sitting on circular trays underneath and ceramic bun feet beneath the cast brass legs and stretchers. All is original, complete and in super condition with just minor repairs to the caps on the burners and replacement wick holder inserts to the burners made to suit copied from the original. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Cast Iron Smoothing Iron Stand IS47 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron, laundry iron stand, with a smoothing iron shape to the body, three feet and an embossed design to the upper surface of convolvulus bindweed leaves and flowers, all in the Aesthetic Movement style. This good iron trivet is said to be designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. The reverse is impressed with the registration for the year 1884 and "No 9" for the size. Cleaned and lacquered and complete and in good order.

Benson Insulated Jug J148 Original, quality insulated copper jug designed by W.A.S. Benson circa 1900, in the original nickel plated finish and of an unusual shape. The insulated interior has a nickel liner the conical lid has a shaped grip and hinge and the shaped body has a side strap handle and a good sized pouring lip. The grip to the lid is stamped "W.A.S. Benson's patent" and the strap handle is stamped "Bensons Patent". The front of this jug is also engraved "Presented to Mr & Mrs E.W. Stevens by Friends at South Norwood, October 1912". The nickel plating to the exterior is very bright and clean with some minor bleeding of the copper base to the edges. All is complete and in superb condition.

Arts & Crafts Spirit Kettle on Stand K190 Original, quality 1920's copper spirit kettle on the original brass stand and with the original meths burner fitted to the base. This stylish kettle in the "Benson" manner has a brass spout, a basket caned brass handle over and an ebonised knob to the lid and grip to the burner cover. This example has mythical creatures to the upper section and a pull up / drop down letter flap detailing "Letters" in fancy upper cased text. Cast Iron Grate Mounted Potstand PS39 Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron potstand with a movable foot beneath to adjust to the variable sizes of stove fronts. This form of potstand would be used on the bars of a kitchen range or fire front to keep a pot or kettle warm rather than used for cooking. This example is cast with an Aesthetic Movement design and although it is missing the tip of the foot it is complete and in good and working order and has been cleaned and lacquered.

Pair of Decorated Brass Rim Lock Sets RL860 Original, quality late 19th century / circa 1900, pair of matching pink brass surface mounted English door locks of outstanding quality with keeps, keys and two pairs of handles. These most unusual examples with an Arts & Crafts design each have two embossed scenes of Putti figures with each panel a different action. This lock has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock. The locks have been fully overhauled with old keys altered to suit, the keeps are copies made to suit and the curved 'T' bar handle are very similar with one pair being the original with the locks and the other pair being as old and very similar but in yellow brass. The idea is to use the yellow on the door side. All has been cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Elsleys Pink Brass Rim Lock with the original matching handle RL642 Original, quality circa 1900, pink cast brass surface mounted door lock manufactured by Elsleys and Co in the Art Nouveau style. A replacement key and keep have been made to suit and the original pair of matching oval pink brass door handles are included. The lock and keep have a decorative flange all around and screw holes for mounting. The lock is not marked for Elsleys but we believe it was manufactured by them, and the patent adjustment handles are impressed to the reverse "Elsley's Patent". All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Art Nouveau Brass Electric Side / Wall Light SL415 Original, quality 1920's continental brass Arts and Crafts electric side lamp / wall light. This super example in the form of a Lily pad stylised for the base has an arm curving over for the flower head, this lamp will also hang on the wall using the adjustable joint with the bulb holder to change the shade direction. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, in-line switch and a three-pin plug. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual lamp. Keswick Engraved Copper Tray T177 Original, quality circa 1900, oval copper drinks tray with a decorative rolled over top rim and a makers' stamp to the underside for "Keswick" and "K.S.I.A" for Keswick School of Industrial Arts. The front lower gallery is engraved "Presented to Mrs Ruth Rawes by the members of the Armitt Libray in grateful recognition of her valuable services to that institution during fifteen years - July 1927. Perry and Son Brass Hot Water Can WC56 Original, quality late 19th century brass hot water can of an unusual aesthetic movement style with a certain resemblance to the designs of Dr Christopher Dresser. This clean example has a tinned interior, the original black ceramic knob to the lid, an exaggerated tubular brass looped handle over the top and a square tubed pouring spout. The underside is impressed for the maker "R.Perry Son & Co of Wolverhampton" and with the knotted rope logo, this company certainly manufactured some designs from Dr C. Dresser but I have not found any identical water can references, as yet. Some very minor metal fatigue but all complete and in good and working order otherwise. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Will hold water if required for use.
