Pair of original, quality late 19th century brass drop ring cupboard / drawer handles in the Arts and Crafts style. Each backplate has four screw holes for mounting and the ring pulls have a 'dot' decoration to the front and plain to the reverse. The reverse of the backplate is impressed with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1877. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. Backplate 2" x 2". Total 2.75" tall and 0.5" front to back. Original, quality pair of brass and copper candle holders in a serious Arts and Crafts form circa 1900 / 1920's. These examples have a ribbed conical base in copper, a central brass stem with a side handle of brass and ebony and a brass candle holder to the top with a petal shaped copper drip pan. The undersides have concealed cast iron weights for stability and one is stamped with the registration number for the year 1896. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good and working order. 5" tall and base 2.75" diam.

Original, quality late 19th century superb pair of cast pink brass door knobs in the well detailed form of poppy seed pods in the Art and Crafts manner. The backplates have a milled edge and concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting and a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit standard mortice locks and latches. This is the first pair we have seen of this model, and I was informed this pair of knobs came from either Hampton Court Palace or Buckingham Palace. Backplate 2", knob 2" and 2.75" front to back.

These super examples are for use with mortice locks and latches and have five countersunk screw holes to each backplate and a square bar for turning. No maker's marks but we think these were manufacturer by Dryad of Leicester. Complete and in good and working order. Backplate 4" diam, knob 2.5" diam and 3" front to back. Price is per pair.

Original, quality 1920's, large cast pink brass, octagonal shaped door pull knob, this will not turn a lock or latch, only pull the door closed. Impressed to the back in script for the manufacturer "Kayes Leeds". This superb example has a flat front to the design, matching backplate and a good large dome headed brass threaded bolt and steel washer for mounting. Some minor pitting overall, however complete and in good and working order. Backplate 3.75" diameter, knob 2.75" diameter, total 3" front to back.

Original, quality 1920's / 30's, exterior electric bell push with a horizonal rectangular shaped copper backplate in the original bronze finish with four countersunk screw holes for mounting and a central white ceramic push button detailing "Press" in black upper cased text. For use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock and many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. This example has an Arts and Crafts feel about it and can be polished to the copper if required. The press detail is rather worn, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. Backplate 5.5" x 2.5" and 1.5" x 0.75" to be recessed.

Original, quality, late 19th century, engraved brass door fingerplates. Impressed "Elsley's" to the reverse for the manufacturer and embossed to the front with the registration number for the year 1888. These shaped fingerplates each have four screw holes for mounting and super engraved designs of acanthus leaves on a the central larger panel and short panels beneath and above. A truely serious Arts and Crafts design by this known maker and what a run! Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The unpolished underside has the logo for the manufacturer "Jesson Burket & Co of Birmingham" and the copper Ink has a small white / ceramic inkwell with a tiny chip, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 3" tall and width 8.25" x 6" front to back.

Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron potstand with a movable foot beneath to adjust to the variable sizes of stove fronts. This form of potstand would be used on the bars of a kitchen range or fire front to keep a pot or kettle warm rather than used for cooking. This example is cast with an Aesthetic Movement design and although it is missing the tip of the foot it is complete and in good and working order and has been cleaned and lacquered. 8" x 6" and 3.5" tall.

Elsleys Pink Brass Rim Lock with the original matching handle, 2 sets available RL642
Original, quality circa 1900, pink cast brass surface mounted door lock manufactured by Elsleys and Co in the Art Nouveau style. A replacement key and keep have been made to suit and the original pair of matching oval pink brass door handles are included. The lock and keep have a decorative flange all around, screw holes for mounting. The lock is not marked for Elsleys but we believe it was manufactured by them, and the patent adjustment handles are impressed to the reverse "Elsley's Patent". All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. Lock backplate 6" x 4" x 7/8" front to back. Original, quality surface mounted nickel door lock circa 1900, with the original keep and drop ring handle, a replacement key cut to fit and an oval nickel door knob to suit, this lock has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock. This superb lock and keep has a decorative flange all round with a pierced design of hearts and the lock has six screw holes for mounting and the keep has four. The lock fore end is impressed for the manufacturer " George Wragge Manchester ". A most unusual lock. All has been fully overhauled and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. Lock 7" x 6.25" tall and 1" front to back. Keep 1.75" x 6.25" tall and 1" front to back. Price is for the set.

This larger than average tile is one of a set of 12 produced by Mintons and designed by J Moyr Smith depicting various scenes from Sir Walter Scott's novels, this one entitled "Fair Maid of Perth" and the scene "Bonthron Accuses Rothsay". This example is stamped to the reverse for the manufacturer "James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield" and engraved to the front centre "Presented to Hilton Grundy Esq. As a token of esteem from his old boys Oct 1923." The exaggerated shape has a pie crust rim, two handgrip recesses and an overall chiselled decoration. The plating is rubbed in places but not badly and the underside has not been cleaned or polished. A stunning tray, in good working order. 19.5" x 26" and 1.5" front to back.

Original, quality 1930's circular copper drinks tray, with a scalloped rim and a hand beaten design of a galleon to the tray, with a background of bubbles. Stamped to the reverse "Handmade". This example was probably made by 'J and F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall' and it has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. 11.25" x 0.75".

Oval Brass Tea Tray T55
Original, quality heavy brass, oval shaped tea/drinks tray, circa 1900/1920's, with a raised outer rim and open ring handles to each end. This tray was originally nickel plated and much of this has remained on the underside. The raised border has a rope twist embossed decoration, the handles have a beaded design and the main tray has a repeated motif of acanthus leaves and flower heads around the outer edge and an oval design to the centre. A super quality tray. Has been lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost. Complete and in good order. 27" including handles x 17" and 1.75".

Original, quality pair of embossed copper spill vases with flared tops and bases circa 1900. This super pair of vases are embossed with stylised trees with leaves of an Arts and Crafts form and stamped to the undersides "Morecambe H.E.C" for the maker. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good order. 6.75" tall, top diam 2.5" and base diam 2.25".
