Original, quality 1930's shop card advert with a coloured illustration of "HRH The Prince of Wales" later to become the abdicated King Edward VII. This example has "by appointment" above with the Prince of Wales Feathers and beneath for "Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London England". This example has been framed and glazed recently. The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

Original, quality late 19th century medium sized brass handbell with the original leather disc and strap handle but missing the internal clapper assembly. This otherwise good example appears to have an old repaired short crack but still rings well. The leather grip is impressed "G" and the leather disc is impressed for the bell foundry "Warners of Cripplegate London". But probably the most important feature of all is the engraving in script "Queens Jubilee Year 1887" to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee of 50 years on the Throne.

Original, quality late 19th century octagonal shaped pale blue on white plate manufactured by "Mintons" to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. This, the first we have seen has great detail around the borders and to the central illustration. The Queen's Head and Shoulders in full Regalia has the Royal Crest in the background and is within an inner border stating " A.D.1887 The Fiftieth of Her Reign, Victoria Queen of England, Empress of Indian. The front has very clear detail and the reverse is impressed "Mintons" for the manufacturer and with the registration lozenge for the year 1886. Complete and in good order.

Original, quality ceramic wall plate in the form of a faux picture frame issued in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's 60 years on the Throne as Queen. This plaque is the first we have seen and is in mint condition and has two holes to the top for a cord to wall mount it. This most unusual dish is also embossed to the inside with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1878 and the rampant lion mark for the manufacturer Sowerby.

The front has multicoloured cameos of the King and Queen with the Coat of Arms and flags and roses between. The reverse is detailed in sepia "Rulers of an Empire on which the sun never sets, send them Victorious, Happy and Glorious long to Reign over us". The underside has "Harrods Ltd exclusive design Guaranteed all British" and to the inside "Coronation Souvenir 22 June 1911. Not a chip or blemish in sight complete and in good order.

Pair of original, quality, silver handled scissors used for an opening ceremony in Kingston-Upon- Hull in 1935, in the original shaped and fitted box. The case has a hinged lid, cream silk lining to the lid, black velvet to the base, gold tooled leather cloth to the outer and a gilded commemoration plaque to the top of the hinged lid. The plaque is engraved "Presented to Ald. A. Stark, J.P. and Lord Mayor of Kingston-Upon-Hull on the occasion of the opening by him of Hull's Super Service Station for Automobile Purchases (Hull) Ltd, 10th July 1935". The silver handled scissors are hallmarked for "Birmingham 1934" and engraved with the initials "A" and "S". All is in super condition, the scissors having little use only and the box is in near mint as you can get. What a most unusual opening ceremony.

Original, quality, Fry's Chocolate tin issued to "Commemorate the opening of the Royal Edward Dock in Bristol" on "July 9th 1908". In mint condition and in the original mount and green finished plaster on wood glazed frame. The tin is highly coloured and detailed with cameos of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra and the mount is in scribed pen script "Presented to Joseph Naish 1908". We have re-papered the backboard and tightened up the tin mount and now all is complete and in good order. Truely in remarkable condition.

The front also has a cameo of Gladstone in relief. A super jug issued by Doulton in 1881 to 1914. One miniscule chip to the pouring lip and some minor blemishes on the tube line decorations, otherwise complete and in superb order.

Original, quality 1920's, white ceramic circular ribbon plate, with a coloured central panel depicting a memorial stone entitled "Pilgrims Cross, Holcombe Moor, Holcombe". This stone shows details to two sides relating to charters of gifted land in Holcombe forrest in AD1176 and AD1125 and when land was gifted by King Charles II to the Manor in AD1662. A good clean plate, complete and in good order. Ribbon plates were referred to as such for coloured ribbons were often threaded though the pierced decoration and hung on the wall.

The two lower brasses were issued after the death of Queen Victoria and are engraved 'Victoria the Good 1819 - 1901' and the two upper brasses were to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and are engraved 'God Save the King Edward VII'. The leatherwork is in good order throughout and is fitted with two original brass buckles. A stunning set of brasses difficult to better.
