The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

1887 Queen Victoria's Jubilee Plate CC275 Original, quality octagonal shaped white ceramic plate issued to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victorias' 50 Years Reign on the Throne of England as Queen. The best we have seen. This fantastic well detailed plate has it all and says it all in good clear and sharp detail mainly in black and all about "The British Empire". 1887 Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee Plate CC268 Original, quality late 19th century octagonal shaped pale blue on white plate manufactured by "Mintons" to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. This, the first we have seen has great detail around the borders and to the central illustration. The Queen's Head and Shoulders in full Regalia has the Royal Crest in the background and is within an inner border stating " A.D.1887 The Fiftieth of Her Reign, Victoria Queen of England, Empress of Indian. Opening Ceremony Scissors CC136 Pair of original, quality, silver handled scissors used for an opening ceremony in Kingston-Upon- Hull in 1935, in the original shaped and fitted box. The case has a hinged lid, cream silk lining to the lid, black velvet to the base, gold tooled leather cloth to the outer and a gilded commemoration plaque to the top of the hinged lid. The plaque is engraved "Presented to Ald. A. Stark, J.P. and Lord Mayor of Kingston-Upon-Hull on the occasion of the opening by him of Hull's Super Service Station for Automobile Purchases (Hull) Ltd, 10th July 1935". The silver handled scissors are hallmarked for "Birmingham 1934" and engraved with the initials "A" and "S". All is in super condition, the scissors having little use only and the box is in near mint as you can get. What a most unusual opening ceremony.

Holcombe Ribbon Plate CC96 Original, quality 1920's, white ceramic circular ribbon plate, with a coloured central panel depicting a memorial stone entitled "Pilgrims Cross, Holcombe Moor, Holcombe". This stone shows details to two sides relating to charters of gifted land in Holcombe forrest in AD1176 and AD1125 and when land was gifted by King Charles II to the Manor in AD1662. A good clean plate, complete and in good order. Ribbon plates were referred to as such for coloured ribbons were often threaded though the pierced decoration and hung on the wall.

Preston Guild Merchant Mug, 3 available CC94 Original, quality, ceramic mug issued in 1922 to commemorate the "Preston Guild Merchant", "Granted By Royal Charter of Henry II AO1180" and decorated with leaves and an armorial crest in colour, with two cameos in sepia, one entitled "Mr Astley-Bell J.P" and the other "Mrs Astley-Bell J.P", the reverse is also detailed in colour "1180 over 1922" and surrounded with a laurel wreath. Perfect.

Doulton Commemorative Beaker CC92 Original, quality, two tone stoneware beaker, manufactured by Royal Doulton to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. The top glazed band is in chocolate brown over the pale brown main body and the detailing in sepia is a cameo of King Edward and Queen Alexandra, surrounded with Tudor roses, thistle heads and shamrocks, with a ribbon swag beneath "Crowned 26th June 1902". The underside of the beaker has the impressed 'lion on a crown' logo, "Royal Doulton England" and "5201". Perfect. Another identical may well be available, with just a different number impressed to the underside.

1911 Glasgow Exhibition Jug CC70 Original, quality small clear glass water jug with a pouring lip, a super loop handle and acid etched panels to each side. One side details "A Present From The Scottish Exhibition, Glasgow 1911" with the city Coat of Arms and the other side has a picture of presumably the exhibition building and underneath "Stewart Fountain Palace of History" and "Mrs Benzie".

Pair of Gladstone and Disraeli Cast Iron Plaques CC69 A pair of original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron plaques depicting Gladstone and Disraeli, both Prime Ministers during Queen Victoria's reign. These plaques have been finished in a matt gilt colour and are fitted within wide circular wooden frames. All is complete and in superb order. The first we have seen.

1902 Coronation Medal CC64 Original, quality, bronze medallion in the original fitted and red leather covered box, detailed to the lid in gold leaf: '1902 Coronation Medal' and with the cypher of King Edward VII. The medallion, in the original finish, has the King's head to one side and details 'Edward VII Crowned 9th August 1902', and to the other side, the head of the Queen and details 'Alexandra Queen Consort'. All is complete and in good order, with some scuffs and marks to the lid of the box only.

1902 Lithophane Cup CC28 Original, quality bone china teacup, with the monogram of King Edward V11 beneath the crown over '1902'. This was issued to commemorate the coronation in 1902, with the lithophane portrait of the King to the base of the cup. An unusual example, detailed for the 'Preston Guild'. Railwayman's Convalescent Home Doulton Jug J215 Original, quality 1920's two tone glazed water jug in dark blue and stoneware colours. This example has a pouring lip and ribbed handle to the side. The central stoneware coloured panel has a sepia illustration of buildings and a circular crest detailing "The Railwayman's Convalescent Home, Herne Bay Kent" and the underside is impressed with the Royal Doulton logo of a lion on a crown and "9374". All is complete and in good order.

1895 Commemorative Wedgwood Jug J208 Original, quality blue and white ceramic water jug with an illustration of Josiah Wedgwood to each side, a pouring lip and a side strap handle. The front of this example has transfer printed detail of a ribbon swag detailing "Josiah Wedgwood 1730 to 1795". This jug was issued in 1895 to commemorate the centenary of J. Wedgwood's death. One minuscule, minor chip to the underside of the base, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Heavy Brass Plaque NP428 Original, quality probably post-war heavy cast brass shield-shaped plaque with embossed detail of the Royal Crown of Queen Elizabeth within a circle detailing "Rex Dei Gratia" and "Fidelitas". No mounting holes but a wire from the reverse will enable it to be wall hung. All in the unpolished finish and waxed but can be polished to shiny brass on request at no extra cost.

1919 World War Peace Mug M149 Original, quality white ceramic mug issued in 1919 to celebrate the end of the "First World War", "1914 to 1918". The front of this example has coloured details of Brittania between cameos of "Beatty" and "Haig" within laurel wreaths and "For Freedom & Honour", "Peace 1919". The reverse is detailed "A Souvenir of The Great War, Commenced Aug 14th 1914 Armistice Nov 11th 1918 & Peace Signed June 28th 1919". The front for this example has coloured detail of Brittania sitting before the flags of British Allied countries during the war. The reverse has details in black "Peace Celebration 1919 Presented by the Lord Mayor, Aldermen & Citzens of the City of Manchester William Kay Lord Mayor". The beaker is very crazed but otherwise is complete and a super example.

Honour & Liberty Bowl M141 Original, quality white ceramic bowl manufactured in 1914 the beginning of the First World War. This super bowl is decorated to the outside with two pictures of four flags of the Allies, one laurel wreath with "God Save The King" and line drawing illustrations of "HMS Lion", "HMS Iron Duke" and three early aircraft. The underside is detailed with the registration number for the year 1914 and for the manufacturer "Chelson China of England". Complete and in good order.

1911 Coronation Teapot Stand TPS7 Original, quality two-colour glazed tile-shaped teapot stand issued to celebrate the coronation of King George V & Queen Mary on June 22nd 1911. This most unusual item has a double ceramic cameo in sepia of their Majesties beneath the crown to the centre and the following countries named to the corners and sides "England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales, India, Canada, Australia & South Africa". Each corner of this tile has a ball foot to the underside. Some crazing to the off-white central panel, some minor chips to the edges plus the top right corner has lost a large chip or two, otherwise all is complete and in good order.
