Lignum Vitae Chog, 3 available C16 Original, quality, late 19th century, tethering chog turned in lignum vitae, as used to tether single grazing animals i.e. horse, goat or sheep. This would be used with a loose noosed chain or rope to keep the animal from choking. Complete and in good order. Lignum vitae is one of the few, very heavy woods that will not float and is ideal for lathe turning.
