Original, quality 1920's / 30's rectangular shaped advertising mirror with a packet of "Wills Gold Flake Cigarettes" to the centre and in the original honey coloured oak frame. Some misting to the mirror and two chips to the back of the glass at the bottom. Although the packet is perfect in every detail generally a very clean example otherwise.

Original, quality late 19th century coppersmith made ale muller of the "Donkey's Ear" design. These mullers were used to warm up ale in the hot coals of the fire. This example has a rolled over seam and top rim, good tinning to the inside and most of all, the maker's name to the shaped side handle "E.J. Walden Banbury". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order. 10.25", 7" wide including handle and 4" top diam.

Set of 3 Glazed Doulton Stoneware Barrels B3
Three matching original, quality, mid to late 19th century, two tone saltglazed stoneware sherry/spirit barrels, with applied Coats of Arms to the front. Each barrel has six simulated bands, a hole to the bottom front for a tap and a hole for filling to the top. Impressed "2" to the top surface and "Doulton and Watts, Lambeth Pottery, London" for the manufacturer. All these barrels are identical, with only a variation in the colour of the glaze. Two are perfect and the other has a little crazing to the front and to the applied Coat of Arms, although nothing is missing. A great set of barrels, sold together. Each barrel is 12.5" tall, 10" widest, 8" base diameter and 8.5" top diameter. Price is for the set of three.

Original, quality 1920's cast brass bar or table mounted cork puller. This super example has a cast iron clamp with a butterfly grip and a turned wooden handle to the brass cork puller. The brass body is stamped with the logo for the manufacturer "Gaskell & Chambers" and the end cap is embossed "A.1" for the model. To Use: Start with the wooden grip uppermost, hold bottle in circular recess, pull down handle and corkscrew will enter cork, pull the handle back all the way to the top and the cork will be extracted from the bottle and ejected from the corkscrew. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Height above bar / shelf.

Handle down 6.5" tall x 3" x 12" front to back.

Handle up 10.5" tall x 3" x 14" front to back.

Original, quality "Yankee No 2" bar corkscrew with a table / shelf mounting clamp with screw adjustment. This good cast iron example was patented by R. B Gilchrist in 1907 and manufactured by The Arcade manufacturing Co USA. All is in super condition, very simple to use and complete and in good and working order.

Rotary Eclipse Bar Corkpuller CS189
Original, quality, cast brass 'Rotary Eclipse' bar corkpuller, circa 1900 / 1920's, undoubtedly the finest of the bar corkpullers ever manufactured. One wind of the handle, clockwise, will turn the screw into the cork and another turn, anti-clockwise, will draw the cork from the bottle with no effort. The circular base has four countersunk screw holes for mounting to the bar and the cranked side handle has a cylindrical ebony grip. The base also has the remains of the manufacturer's plaque detailing "The Patent Eclipse". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. We rarely find these today and this example, fully overhauled, is complete and in good and working order.

Base 4.5" diam.

Total 16" tall x 7.5" wide including handle.

Large Salt Glazed Harvest Jug J155
Original, quality early 19th century large salt glazed harvest jug in two toned glazed colouring of dark chocolate to the upper and coffee colour below. This jug has a variety of embossed detail including a band on the shoulders of grapes on the vine with the leaves, a fox hunting scene with hounds and, unusually, with riders not on their horses but standing beside them, helping the hounds over the fence and gate. This fine example and great looker, has an old restoration to the back of the top rim and a faint hairline crack to the underside, otherwise a wonderful looking salt glazed harvest jug of good proportions.

Original, quality huge early 19th century salt glazed stoneware harvest jug in two-toned glazed colours of coffee brown to the upper section and buff colour to the lower. This jug is covered in good detail in relief, of hounds chasing a fox with horses and riders, a large palm tree, Doctor Foster with his umbrella, George slaying the Dragon, an oak tree, a large Windmill and two figures drinking ale. Having described what a fantastic jug this is in detail and in size, it has been substantially repaired and the lower section has been in several pieces. All can be clearly seen in the pictures and in the flesh. Although the handle appears intact, there is very minor chip to the spout. Above all it is a serious jug of considerable age and a great looker. 13" tall x 11" + 12" wide including handle

Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 4" tall, base 2.75" diameter, top 2.75" diameter, 4.5" wide including handle.

Original, quality, very large ale measure jug in white ceramic with transfer decoration of hops and barley to both sides, a pouring lip and a side handle. The underside is transfer printed in black with the 'Crown Pottery' logo, "Patent Government Stamped Measure, Sole Patentee and Maker, John Tams Longton", "Hop and Barley" and with the registration number for the year 1905. I can not find the custom and excise etched mark, but all is complete otherwise and has the stepped rim around the handle. This jug does have an 1.5" hairline crack to one side of the lip, but no damage or chips otherwise. This eight pint jug is a most unusual example, the largest we have seen. 9" tall, base 8.25" diameter, 10.5" wide including handle and spout.

Original, quality matching pair of late 19th century Scottish costrell shaped whisky flasks in unbelievable condition. Each one is bound in cane and fitted with the original shoulder straps and barrel harness, brass bung cover and brass padlock with key. The brass covers are stamped "H.G.M" for the original owner and the barrels are impressed to one end "1 Quart" and "4 Quarts". All is complete and in good and working order and all are as they came, with one exception, replacement keys were altered to suit, note also the brass padlocks which came with the flasks are a true pair.
