4 Tine Hayfork AT54 Original, quality late 19th century four prong wrought iron hayfork with a good long ash handle. The ironwork has been cleaned and lacquered. the woodwork waxed. All is complete and in good and working order.

Elwell Four Prong Hayfork AT53 Original, quality late 19th century four prong wrought iron Hayfork with a good long ash handle. The ironwork is impressed "Elwell" for the manufacturer and still has some of the original red paintwork. The ash handle is in super condition, with no sign of any wormholes and has been waxed and the metalwork cleaned and lacquered. All is complete and in good and working order.

Long Reach Turfing Iron AT52 Original, quality late 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron Turfing Iron with a 'D Shaped' cutting blade, a cranked wrought iron shaft and an ash handle with a 'D' shaped grip with the wood cleaned and waxed and the ironwork lacquered. Circular Terracotta Bread Pan BP23 Original, quality late 19th century circular terracotta bread proving pan often referred to as a "Pansion". This example has several copper staple type repairs, a hole drilled to the floor for drainage and glazing inside. These were used originally with a lid to allow the bread dough to rise and "prove" but now ideal as a planter.

This example, glazed to the outside and the inside, has a rolled over top rim and some chips to the rim but otherwise complete and in good order with no cracks. Quilted and Overlaid Glass Hyacinth Vase BV41 Original, quality 1920's pale blue quilted overlaid glass hyacinth bulb vase of the squat shape. This most unusual example has the pale blue overlaid glass fading to near white at the base. One tiny chip to the inner white glass only to the top rim otherwise complete and in good order.

CWS Steel Milk Churn DP253 Original, quality pre-war seventeen-gallon steel milk churn embossed "CWS.D" around the band for the Co-operative Wholesale Society Dairy. Some small rust holes to the floor, lid missing and overall weathered finish, will not hold water but generally in good order otherwise. Other similar churns may well be available.

Cut Glass Flower Stand FP6 Original, quality, circular, dome shaped large moulded glass, flower stand in cut brown clear glass, with marble type veins. This stand was for setting a display of cut flowers and is a larger than normally found size. It is also most unusual to find these in coloured glass. The underside is embossed "Made in England", "10" and with a patent number for the year 1931. Some minor damage to the inner veins, but otherwise complete and in good order.

The Grange Weedkiller G27 Original, quality 1920's, brass weedkiller with a brass cylindrical stem, a filling scoop as the twist on cap, an aluminium sprung base and valve and an oval maker's plaque detailing "The Grange Killweeder, Toll Lawndressing Ltd, Buxton, Sussex". Some very minor dents but otherwise complete and in good and working order and polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Pearlware Flowerbed Labels, 2 available G23 Original, quality, large, unused Staffordshire pearlware ceramic, garden or greenhouse flowerbed label, with a scallop shell design to the top, a central square panel and a pointed end, with three countersunk screw holes. For pushing into the ground or screwing to a wooden border surround. The reverse has a super clear impressed registration lozenge mark for the year 1878 and the retailer or maker's name "G. A. Stubbs Warwick". All are complete and in superb order, with the odd minor stain, but no chips or cracks and much, much larger than you think.

Copper Toogood Trophy Shield G17 Original, quality, pressed copper "Toogood Best in The Show" shield in the original unpolished patinated finish, with the year presentation shield above at the top of the chains dated 1908 and bearing the Royal Coat of Arms. The main shield of a thick guage copper is deeply embossed with fine detail, the Kings Crown to the top above the Royal Coat of Arms, a central cameo of various Poultry surrounded by a larrel wreath, with an array of flowers and fruit above to the left and vegetables to the right. The text is all in banner swags "The Toogood Shield For The Best in The Show", "Toogood and Sons, The Kings Seedsmen", "For The Best in The Show, Won By... and at... " and "Presented By Toogood and Sons Southampton". This shield has never been engraved and is in mint condition in all aspects, with just a little discolouration to the reverse. The first we have seen of this size awarded by "Toogood and Sons".

Cast Iron & Timber Garden Bench GB41 Original, quality mid to late 19th century heavy cast iron bench ends in a faux branch design with later replacement timber boards, nuts, washers and bolts. One good repair to one cast iron end and with the old coat of green paint, all is now complete and in good and working order.

Long Handled Sickle GH200 Original, quality 1920's blacksmith made wrought iron Sickle on a long ash shaft. The blade is impressed "Knapman 2" and the ash shaft is in superb condition with not a wormhole in sight. All has been cleaned, the wood waxed and the metalwork lacquered. Grave Digging Spade GH198 Original, quality late 19th century steel spade with the original heavy duty thick and long ash handle. The arrow head shaped spade still has some of the original paint, has seen very little use if any and is complete and in good and working order with no signs of woodworm.

Hedge Clippers GH97 Pair of original, quality, 1920's patent, hand operated hedge clippers of the "Astor" type, with two turned beech handles and four movable cutting blades in steel. Appears to be used very little and the wooden grips have retained most of the original varnish, otherwise all has been cleaned and lacquered. 2 Piece Stoneware Planter GU11 Original, quality late 19th century dark brown glazed two piece stoneware planter on base in a tree trunk form with holes for "planting out" to the sides. 2 Piece Copper Presentation Flower Holder P33 Original, quality post-war circular water container and stem holder for a floral display made all of copper with a lift out perforated cover and mounted on four feet in the form of mythical fish. The front is mounted with an oak leaf shaped plaque engraved "Presented to Mrs Peile on the occasion of the passing out parade and prize giving H.M.S. Fisgard 15th April 1958". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Small Cast Iron Feed Trough T48 Original, quality late 19th century small cast iron animal feed trough of a rectangular shape with tapered sides and mounted on four cast iron feet. This example has a divider to separate feeds and, the remains of the enamelled interior, all is well-weathered and pitted but complete and in good order otherwise.

Early Copper Watering Can WC65 Original, quality superb late 19th century all copper watering can in the 17th / 18th century style. This wonderful example has several repairs to the underside but is now complete and in good and working order. There are multiple dents to the handle and stem to the rose and we have taken out many other dents. A truly spectacular example of a Victorian copy. This item is not lacquered to enable it to return to its green / brown colour or we could lacquer it for you for no extra cost.

Perry and Son Brass Hot Water Can WC56 Original, quality late 19th century brass hot water can of an unusual aesthetic movement style with a certain resemblance to the designs of Dr Christopher Dresser. This clean example has a tinned interior, the original black ceramic knob to the lid, an exaggerated tubular brass looped handle over the top and a square tubed pouring spout. The underside is impressed for the maker "R.Perry Son & Co of Wolverhampton" and with the knotted rope logo, this company certainly manufactured some designs from Dr C. Dresser but I have not found any identical water can references, as yet. Some very minor metal fatigue but all complete and in good and working order otherwise. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Will hold water if required for use.
