Original, quality 1930's heavy circular copper stockpot with beaten finish, good tinning to the inside, a pair of cast brass loop handles fixed with copper rivets but no lid, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Ideal for cooking or a super jardinière. This example is impressed with a chef logo and previously owned by The Brooklands Catering College. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 12" tall x 12" diam and 16.5" widest including side handles.

Original, quality 19th century heavy copper circular stockpot with good tinning to the inside, a pair of cast pink brass side loop handles fixed with copper rivets and dovetailed seams to the side and underside. This stockpot was originally fitted with a tap, but this has been removed and the hole patched. The lid is also long gone, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order and suitable either as a stockpot or a jardiniere. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 11.25" tall x 11" diam and total 14.5" wide including handles.

Original, quality late 19th century cast iron floor grilles from over an underfloor heating system in a large commercial greenhouse, originally from "Benham Valance House" on the Sutton Estate Nr Hungerford in Berkshire. Sutton Estate was owned by the "Sutton Seed Empire". These grilles have an intricate pierced design, flat on one side and in relief to the other. The casting has super detail and probably manufactured by Coalbrookdale Iron Foundry. Complete and in good order. Ideal for floor grilles again or used as a coffee table. 24" x 18" x 5/8". Original, quality, circular, dome shaped large moulded glass, flower stand in cut brown clear glass, with marble type veins. This stand was for setting a display of cut flowers and is a larger than normally found size. It is also most unusual to find these in coloured glass. The underside is embossed "Made in England", "10" and with a patent number for the year 1931. Some minor damage to the inner veins, but otherwise complete and in good order. 6.5" tall x 10" widest.

Original, quality, large, unused Staffordshire pearlware ceramic, garden or greenhouse flowerbed label, with a scallop shell design to the top, a central square panel and a pointed end, with three countersunk screw holes. For pushing into the ground or screwing to a wooden border surround. The reverse has a super clear impressed registration lozenge mark for the year 1878 and the retailer or maker's name "G. A. Stubbs Warwick". All are complete and in superb order, with the odd minor stain, but no chips or cracks and much, much larger than you think. 12.25" x 5.25" + 0.5". Price is for each.

Original, quality, pressed copper "Toogood Best in The Show" shield in the original unpolished patinated finish, with the year presentation shield above at the top of the chains dated 1908 and bearing the Royal Coat of Arms. The main shield of a thick guage copper is deeply embossed with fine detail, the Kings Crown to the top above the Royal Coat of Arms, a central cameo of various Poultry surrounded by a larrel wreath, with an array of flowers and fruit above to the left and vegetables to the right. The text is all in banner swags "The Toogood Shield For The Best in The Show", "Toogood and Sons, The Kings Seedsmen", "For The Best in The Show, Won By... and at... " and "Presented By Toogood and Sons Southampton". This shield has never been engraved and is in mint condition in all aspects, with just a little discolouration to the reverse. The first we have seen of this size awarded by "Toogood and Sons". Main shield 12.25" x 10", total length complete 13.75".

Original, quality late 19th century bench with a pitch pine seat and back rail with cast iron legs with back rail supports. This unusual example has the facility to reverse the back rail at the end of the line, with one movement and the public will then sit on the side facing the return journey. The cast iron supports are embossed for the manufacturer "H. Addison & Co Ltd Wellington Salop". The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted gloss black and the pitch pine cleaned and waxed. All is complete and in good and working order. 70" long and 31" tall at back. 17.5" tall at seat and 16" front to back.

Original, quality late 19th century hand pruning tool, an unusually small pair, the first we have seen. This example has cast iron mounts with a steel upright with a cutting blade. The cast iron mounts have much of the original red paintwork and are impressed "Patent Pruner" to both sides. The wooden grips are replacement turned in ash copied from the very wormy originals. All is now complete and in good and working order and in superb condition. 18" long x 6" closed.

Original, quality goblet shaped ceramic jardiniere manufactured by Fieldings as "Crown Devon Ware". This perfect example has a background of blush pastel shades of cream and beige with floral decoration in the form of hanging bowls of flowers with swags of roses. The underside is transfer printed "Crown Devon S F & Co Stoke on Trent England", "Etria" for the design and with the registration number for the year 1911. Some minor crazing to the interior otherwise complete and in good order with not a crack or chip in sight. 10" tall, top aperture 8.75" and widest 11".

Diam of inner bowl 14.5 and 8.5" deep.

Round Baed Staddle Stone, several available SST2
Original quality, 19th century or older, two piece staddle stone in Bath stone. A good selection is normally available in stock, nicely coloured and weathered and most with lichen and mosses to the top and some sides. These two piece stones were originally used to support timber built corn store buildings, to keep air circulating beneath and hence the damp out and the 'lid' would keep out rats and mice etc. These buildings would always have lift-off steps which were hooked up on the side wall when not in use, hence no access for vermin. The stones vary in size but generally are 26" to 30" tall, 18" to 22" wide cap, 16" to 20" wide at foot of base. All are complete and in good order and separate pictures of particular stones can be forwarded if required. Price is for each two piece staddle stone.
