Original, quality late 19th century superb unused silver plated fish servers in the original Morrocan red leather paper covered box with a velvet lining to the interior and a silk lining to the lid. Both the knife and fork have embossed handgrips with good detail of fish and acanthus leaves and the blades are engraved with acanthus leaves to the fork and a fish to each side of the knife blade entwined around Neptune's Trident. These Tools are probably the most impressive fish servers we have seen although not in silver.

The knives have the earlier style of steel blade and are marked for "Rodgers of Sheffield" the cutler manufacturer and "VR" for the reign of Queen Victoria. The forks are two prong and shorter than most due to use and perhaps old damage. The bone grips on all have a checkered pattern, two rivets to each and oval steel plates to the end. Original, quality, 18th or early 19th century, straining ladle with a deep bowl with a perforated extension to the side and a blacksmith made wrought iron handle with a turned hook eye to the top. The wrought iron handle is fitted to the underside of the brass bowl with three copper rivets and a shaped wrought iron mount. A most unusual ladle, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century travelling picnic set comprising a cut glass spirit flask with a screw on cap and cup and three pieces of folding cutlery, knife, fork and spoon, all fitted into a small leather case. The case is in pale fine leather with a stud catch to the front. The flask has nickel mounts and cup and the cutlery is folded and fitted to a leather insert which slides into the case in front of the flask. The cutlery is nickel with ivorine side covers and the knife has a steel blade. All is very clean, shows very little use and is complete and in good and working order.
