Wrought Iron Night Latch Keys, 3 available K112 Original, quality mid to late 19th century wrought iron night latch key often referred to as "French Night Latch Keys", although these were manufactured in the UK as well as in France for use generally. This key would operate a variation of the thumb or Suffolk latch, acting as the thumb control. One picture here is of the key hole still fitted to a door in the High St. here in Hungerford. Cast Iron Letter Embosser LE17 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's cast iron letter embosser with the original paintwork and decoration. This example was used for business documents and is fitted with two brass padlocks in a brass locking bar ( with two keys for each ). The two padlocks obviously have different keys and are fitted to ensure it needs two independent key holders to be present before the embosser can be used on legal documents etc. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Brass and Iron Russian Padlock PL50 Original, quality late 19th century brass and iron padlock with an old key altered to fit. This unusual example, made in Russia, has a double locking mechanism. The main body and hasp is in blacksmith made wrought iron and the front and back has thick brass cover plates with a decorative bevelled edge to the upper half plates and all is contained as one with five wrought iron rivets. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.
