Cammell Laird and Co Ltd Promotional Paper Weight A93 Original, quality 1920's advertising desk or counter paper weight in the form of a standing camel on a rectangular shaped block. This example appears to be in pewter or spelter, later painted in brown paint. Each side of the plinth is mounted with a brass plaque detailing in relief to, one side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Sheffield, Grimesthorpe & Penistone" and the other side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Shipyard Birkenhead". All has been washed and lacquered and is complete and in good order with just some rubbing to the later brown paint. Cammell Laird were huge ship builders having many famous ships to their credit including HMS Ark Royal, The Mauritania, The Robert F.Stockton, HMS Birkhead, CSS Alabama and The Fullages to name but a few.

Doulton Gladstone Jug CC65 Original, quality, buff coloured, glazed stoneware jug, with a rear loop handle, a pouring lip and a coffee brown glazed top and base and a reeded trim. The front is transfer printed in upper cased Art Nouveau type style, around a cameo of Gladstone and the text details: 'England's Great Commoner, William Ewart Gladstone' and 'Effort, Honest Reflective Action, Manful, Humble upon Character, Effort - Suceeds better than by it's Sucess'. Impressed to the underside 'Doulton Lambeth England' and '4200'. A superb commemorative jug, issued in 1898 by Doulton on the death of Gladstone. In perfect condition.

Large Brass Medallion CC47 Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, cast brass side view of a gentleman's head in relief mounted on a heavy circular cast brass wall plaque. Copper Coaching Horn in Basket Case CH6 Original, quality pre-war copper coaching horn in the original basket case. The one piece copper horn is marked for the maker "Boosey & Co 295 Regent St. London" and stamped "40080". The mouthpiece is nickel and the top 7.5" has a brass neck. The basket, made in wicker, is missing the lid but is generally complete and in good order otherwise. The horn is loud and is polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Set of 8 Cow Horn Drawer Knobs CK472 Original, quality, set of eight matching late 18th or early 19th century chest of drawers knobs with the original brass threaded bars with hand cut nuts, rope twist brass wire inlays to the face of the knobs and replacement washers fitted. One knob has a slightly thicker front, one other knob has some of the brass wire inlay missing and there is a variation in colour to some of the backplates, otherwise all are complete and in good and working order. Patent Carpet Stretcher CS2 Original, quality, 19th century, carpet stretcher in wrought iron and cast iron, with the original turned fruitwood handle and brass ferrule. The cast iron arm to the base spikes is embossed with US patent details "Pat June 13.1876". Much of the original black paint finish has remained and all is complete and in good order. An early carpet stretcher, the first we have seen of this model.

Steel Dog Collar DC20 Original, quality, early to mid 19th century, blacksmith made wrought iron dog collar of a good size. This example has two double rows of shaped links with a brass mounted nameplate between and adjustable and lockable joining plates with a old key altered to suit. The wrought iron curved plates are all punch engraved with detail and the inset brass nameplate details a name in script but very faint and "Woodside Nr Leeds". A fabulous dog collar. Complete and in good and working order.

Mahogany Dental Cabinet DF17 Original, quality late 19th century multi-drawer dental cabinet in pale mahogany. These were carried on home visits or by dental students during training. This example has six drawers, one fitted out and the other five with white glass lining. The hinged top has a note folder fitted, is partitioned and reveals a pull out locking rod which runs through all the drawer fronts. The top is locked with a key and the two brass side catches slide into place for extra safety. The top has a brass lifting / carry handle, the drawers have brass knobs and the top section has a brass plaque for a previous owner and engraved "S.Jones". The brass fittings have all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All has been fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order.

Brightglow Electric Bedwarmer EF3 Original, quality, circa 1910/1920's, electric heater/bedwarmer. This heavy circular copper heater has an aperture with two pins to take an electric kettle type adaptor to plug in and heat up. Impressed to the top and underside "Brightglow Electric Heater", "Disconnect Before Placing in Bed, Heat 5 Minutes Only", "Registration Applied For" and "200/250v". The top surface has been polished and lacquered, but the underside still retains the original finish. Sadly the plug and adaptor are long gone. All is in super condition otherwise, but not suitable for use.

Pearlware Flowerbed Labels, 3 available G23 Original, quality, large, unused Staffordshire pearlware ceramic, garden or greenhouse flowerbed label, with a scallop shell design to the top, a central square panel and a pointed end, with three countersunk screw holes. For pushing into the ground or screwing to a wooden border surround. The reverse has a super clear impressed registration lozenge mark for the year 1878 and the retailer or maker's name "G. A. Stubbs Warwick". All are complete and in superb order, with the odd minor stain, but no chips or cracks and much, much larger than you think.

Hat Pin Stand HPS1 Original, quality 1920's, novelty shaped brass hat pin stand in the form of a mini umbrella stand. Copeland Bowl on Stand P86 Original, quality late 19th century three piece set of matching blue on white decorated bowl with lid on a small tray with carrying grip as in a chamberstick. Pair of Wesleyan Sunday School Plates P15 Pair of original quality, late 19th century plates. One dinner size and one tea, both with a transfer to the top of the rim in orange for 'Wesleyan Sunday School, Crow Edge' within a ribbon banner. Both plates also have a gilt line close to the outer edge and a transfer maker's mark to the reverse for 'The Ceramic Art Co Ltd'. 3 Pairs of Scissors in a Fitted Case S24 Original, quality late 19th century, continental set of three matching steel scissors in graduated sizes in the original fitted pale leather covered case decorated with painted brass leaves and an Art Nouveau brass clasp to the lid. The case is lined in blue silk to the lid and blue velvet to the box. The hinge area has suffered a little but has not detached itself and the outer lid has some water stains. The scissors are magnificent with matt gilt decoration on the grips and the manufacturer details to the steel for Engleswerk E.W Engele Solingen and a 'Flying Cherub Logo'.

J.Wiss Tailors Shears S19 Original, quality late 19th century superb steel tailors shears with much of the original black paintwork to the grips and large brass locking nuts. One side of the nuts is impressed "J. Wiss & Sons New Jersey USA" and the other "Patent applied for House Bros Brewer St.". The upper blade is also marked for the maker "Wiss". A good working and comfortable pair of shears.

Gentlemans Toilet Set SB41 Original, quality, early 19th century, gentleman's tin travelling toilet box, fitted to the interior with a lift out tray and many accessories comprising a blue and white ceramic toothbrush / razor tray, three shaped cannisters, one containing a circular creampot with a lid in blue and white ceramic and one clear glass bottle, these are all original to this kit. The interior is in the original green paint and the exterior in black japanned has retained the floral decoration and gold coachlining. This good example has polished brass top and bottom plates with a sliding cover over two finger pinch holes for extracting the snuff for use from the top. Oval Copper Snuff Box SB13 Original, quality early 19th century oval shaped copper snuff box, originally Sheffield plated, with a rope twisted bead to the base and top rim of the cushioned lid. Most of the plating has worn away leaving a super copper finish. The top has been later engraved "Berks 4, V.A.D.", The red cross logo and Ascot Military Hospital Oct 1914". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Copper Box SB10 Original, quality mid 19th century rectangular shaped flat copper box, perhaps a large tobacco or snuff box. This super example, originally Sheffield plated, has a hinged lid and a rope twist beading all round to the top and bottom of the main box. The top is mounted with a Georgian coin, the underside is impressed silver on copper, and the remains of the Sheffield plate can still be seen to the inside. Tin Stomach Warmer SW3 Original, quality, late 19th century, superb very thin and curved oval shaped hot water filled warmer, in tin, with a brass label, screw off cap and a folding flat wire loop handle. This incredible warmer has just one minor dent, otherwise all is in mint condition. The pressed brass oval maker's plate is detailed "Michael Wright, Hydropathic Appliance and Bath Manf Co, Matlock Bank" All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.

Marples Ebony Ultimatum Brace T134 Original, quality late 19th century brass framed ebony "Ultimatum" brace manufactured by William Marples of Sheffield. They do not come much better than this model or indeed this item. A top craftsman made, working tool. The wood infill is ebony and the frame, chuck and neck of the head are in cast brass. The brass side plates are impressed "William Marples Sole Manufacturers of the Ultimatum framed brace, Sheffield" with The Royal Coat of Arms and "By Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent" and the trademark "Hibernia" for W. Marples. The top of the ebony head has an inset disc also embossed with the maker's details. All original and complete and in good and working order.
