The underside is printed "Made in Great Britain for Wm Teacher Glasgow & London". Some crazing and staining overall and two hairline cracks from the top, otherwise complete and in good order. The first we have seen of this model.

Original, quality 1930's shop card advert with a coloured illustration of "HRH The Prince of Wales" later to become the abdicated King Edward VII. This example has "by appointment" above with the Prince of Wales Feathers and beneath for "Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London England". This example has been framed and glazed recently. The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

The sides are transfer printed advertising "O.V.H Scotch Whisky, Wm Greer & Co Ltd Glasgow", the front has "O.V.H" within a cameo and the underside is printed for the manufacturer "The Associated Potteries Co. Sole Proprietors Hancock, Corfield & Waller Ltd Mitcham London & The Potteries". Complete and in good and working order with just some crazing over one ear.

Original, quality late 19th century ceramic spill vase manufactured by Bretby in the form of a pig beside a feed bin on a grassy patch. The feed bin is embossed "Thorley's Food", the back of the pig is detailed "Who Said Thorley's Food" and the underside is impressed "Bretby England". The paintwork is rubbed in areas to the bin and the back of the pig. Otherwise, all is complete and in good order. This is the first we have seen or even heard of.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's advertising chair issued for shop customers use. This exciting example has an enamel sign, detailing "Watsons Matchless Cleanser is the best soap for all purposes", fitted in the back. This sign is in near mint condition and is detailed to the bottom for the maker of the sign "Falkirk Iron Co" of "Scotland". The chair is in good condition and very study after several repairs namely an old split to the seat, now good and the legs were short, now sorted. The chair is in the original finish and colour and is impressed to the back of the seat board for the maker "F. East Dundee". These chairs are not easy to find these days and this example is now a good clean example and complete and in good order.

Original, quality post-war three piece cruet set in cube form, advertising "Guinness for you" and a half pint glass of guinness alternating to the four sides. This set comprising a salt, a pepper and a mustard pot with lid, each marked to the underside for the maker "Carlton Ware and "Made in England, Trademark". Each has a plastic bung to the underside. The pepper and mustard pot are perfect but the salt has a hairline crack to one side or a scratch ? it's difficult to determine, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's oval white ceramic display stand advertising "Edwards Desiccated Soup" and "One Penny E.D.S.". This super item, the first we have seen, is decorated all around in black, orange and red with a repeated scene of nine children, one black cat and a cook following the head cook holding a tureen of soup. The children are carrying a spoon and or a bowl waiting for a fill-up. Each end has a cameo of the head cook with a tureen of soup being the "Trademark". The underside has the printed logo for the manufacturer "Grimwades". All is in good order with no chips, cracks or blemishes. Some fading and rubbing wear to the colour and printed detail otherwise perfect. A most unusual promotional item.

W. H Smith Shop Light with Bracket A130
Original, quality 1950's advertising, electric lightbox with the original blacksmith made wrought iron wall bracket. The lightbox has a repeated illustration of a Newspaper Boy with a basket of Newspapers in a W.H Smith uniform and cap and the 'WHS' logo to the bottom corner. One side panel is glazed in white glass the underside is in clear glass and the other side has a hinged cover to access for changing the bulbs. This unit has been rewired with two new bulb holders and three core exterior covered flex. Although this unit is not designed for outdoor use so presumably it was used originally, either inside the shop window or elsewhere in the shop or perhaps in a shopping centre. The original blacksmith wrought iron wall bracket is generally in good order, although it has many old coats of paint and would benefit being stripped and repainted. A wonderful find in amazing condition.

Original, quality 1920's advertising desk or counter paper weight in the form of a standing camel on a rectangular shaped block. This example appears to be in pewter or spelter, later painted in brown paint. Each side of the plinth is mounted with a brass plaque detailing in relief to, one side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Sheffield, Grimesthorpe & Penistone" and the other side "Cammell Laird & Co Ltd, Shipyard Birkenhead". All has been washed and lacquered and is complete and in good order with just some rubbing to the later brown paint. Cammell Laird were huge ship builders having many famous ships to their credit including HMS Ark Royal, The Mauritania, The Robert F.Stockton, HMS Birkhead, CSS Alabama and The Fullages to name but a few.

Bretby Huntley & Palmers Plate A76
Original, quality late 19th century decorative ceramic plate mounted with four facsimile Huntley & Palmers biscuits. Three of these very lifelike biscuits are impressed for Huntley & Palmers just as the real ones were and the green glazed plate is finished as if a paper doiley was on the plate. The underside is impressed for the makers "Bretby England" and '1146' and with the registration number for the year 1897. There is an old repair to the edge as shown in two of the pictures here, a chip has been glued back in rather clumsily, otherwise all is complete and in good order with a super gloss finish back and front.

This chair is in the original finish and has embossed detail to the backrail "Agent for the Holdfast brand boots and shoes", "EWP & Co trademark" and with a knotted rope logo. The seat panel is also embosssed with a pattern and the underside has retained the original paper label for the maker of the chair Thonet. A very hard to find advertising chair, complete and in super condition.

Spratts Brass Dog Comb VT53
Original, quality 1920's steel dogs' comb mounted with a sheet brass grip detailed "6", "Made in England" and with "Spratts" letters in the form of a Scottish Terrier. The first we have seen. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Butlers Crown Brewery Stained Glass Panel W477
Original, quality late 19th century / 1900, leaded coloured glass / window panel advertising "Butlers, Crown Brewery Ltd". This unbelievable glazed panel has been reframed for safekeeping. Each variation in colour or white is a separate piece of glass leaded in with the colours depicting flowers and leaves surrounding the central panel of acid etched ruby red and Royal blue glass detailing "Butlers Crown Brewery Limited" in Royal Blue and "trademark" a large crown and "Estd 1781". Some minor cracks to the smaller sections of coloured glass but no glass pieces missing and all in good order otherwise.

Frame exterior 34.5" x 27" x 1.25".

Visible glass 31.25" x 23.75".
