Teachers Whisky Water Jug A173 Original, quality 1920's / 30's small off white ceramic water jug with a pouring lip, a side handle, a transfer picture of two boys playing cricket with three Teachers whisky bottles as the wicket and "Teachers Whisky" in bold text to the front. Huntley & Palmers Card Advert A172 Original, quality 1930's shop card advert with a coloured illustration of "HRH The Prince of Wales" later to become the abdicated King Edward VII. This example has "by appointment" above with the Prince of Wales Feathers and beneath for "Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London England". This example has been framed and glazed recently. The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

Thorley's Food Advertising Spill Vase A159 Original, quality late 19th century ceramic spill vase manufactured by Bretby in the form of a pig beside a feed bin on a grassy patch. The feed bin is embossed "Thorley's Food", the back of the pig is detailed "Who Said Thorley's Food" and the underside is impressed "Bretby England". The paintwork is rubbed in areas to the bin and the back of the pig. Otherwise, all is complete and in good order. This is the first we have seen or even heard of.

Carltonware Guinness Cruet Set A139 Original, quality post-war three piece cruet set in cube form, advertising "Guinness for you" and a half pint glass of guinness alternating to the four sides. This set comprising a salt, a pepper and a mustard pot with lid, each marked to the underside for the maker "Carlton Ware and "Made in England, Trademark". Each has a plastic bung to the underside. The pepper and mustard pot are perfect but the salt has a hairline crack to one side or a scratch ? it's difficult to determine, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Welsbach Gas Mantle Advert Ashtray A136 Original, quality 1920's superb square copper ashtray with a cast aluminium standing lighthouse to the centre. Each corner of the ashtray has cigarette rests and the sides are embossed "Welsbach Mantles" and alternately "A Welsbach House is always a lighthouse". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The first we have seen and complete and in good order.

Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

W. H Smith Shop Light with Bracket A130 Original, quality 1950's advertising, electric lightbox with the original blacksmith made wrought iron wall bracket. The lightbox has a repeated illustration of a Newspaper Boy with a basket of Newspapers in a W.H Smith uniform and cap and the 'WHS' logo to the bottom corner. One side panel is glazed in white glass the underside is in clear glass and the other side has a hinged cover to access for changing the bulbs. This unit has been rewired with two new bulb holders and three core exterior covered flex. Although this unit is not designed for outdoor use so presumably it was used originally, either inside the shop window or elsewhere in the shop or perhaps in a shopping centre. The original blacksmith wrought iron wall bracket is generally in good order, although it has many old coats of paint and would benefit being stripped and repainted. A wonderful find in amazing condition.

Turog Brown Bread Award 1951 BB74 Original, quality bronzed finish, oval brass embossed plaque engraved "Turog Brown Bread Open Class, Second Prize Awarded to Kelly's ( Heswall ) Ltd 1951". This very clean award is mounted on an oak shield shaped backboard with a folding easel stand. Beneath the plaque is a silver coloured swag engraved "Merseyside Exhibition Liverpool 1951". The oval plaque has a registration number for the year 1912. The reverse of the shield has a makers plaque for "Fattorini & Sons Ltd 36 Barr Street Birmingham". All is complete and in good order with just a few scuffs to the finish of the oak board.

1937 Coronation Diary Blotter CC209 Original, quality unused and very clean diary with blotter pages issued as a souvenir of the Coronation of King Edward VIII which of course did not take place. This example was produced as a promotional item for "N. Nichols Baker & Confectioner of Bell Street Whitchurch Hampshire". St Julien Tobacco Glass Change Slope CS3 Original, quality 1920's / 30's moulded glass shop counter "Change Slope". This example is advertising "Ogden's St Julien Tobacco" with pictorial details of packets of "Virginia Blend" and "Empire Blend" at 11d per oz and 9½d per oz. The decoration is bright and clear and detailed to the reverse of the slope and has some damage to the paintwork and detail and the two back corners of the glass have chips, otherwise complete and in good order.

Glass Rolling Ruler, 2 available R51 Original, quality 1920's clear glass tube, acid etched to one side "Use Moncrieffs Inks". This 12" long tube was a rolling ruler used with dip pens to draw horizontal lines. This is the first we have seen and all is complete and in good order.

Ceramic Advertising Rolling Pin RP17 Original, quality late 19th century off white coloured ceramic rolling pin with the original turned beech handles. This good example has transfer printed details for "Mason's extract of herbs", "Coombs Aeriated Pastry Flour", "Kilvents Pure Lard" and "Coombs Eureka Flour". Although the text is a little faded, all is complete and in good order otherwise.

Ogdens Stoneware Tobacco Jar T27 Original, quality 1920's tobacconist shop, tobacco dispensing jar in glazed stoneware. This example has a blue band to the top and 'Ogdens Impi Twist" for the blend of tobacco to the front and reverse, also "Issued by The Imperial Tobacco Co. ( of Great Britain & Ireland ) Ltd". A short faint hairline crack to the front top and others to the base rim and originally had a tin lid, otherwise complete and in good order.
