The bottle is in super condition, but the contents have evaporated and the label is faded and worn at the edges, but a great looker nevertheless.

Jubilee Vesta Case CC206
Original, quality nickel plated advertising Vesta case manufactured by "Perry & Co. Steel Pen Makers", to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887. This unusual item was probably given away or sold with Perry pen nibs and with a secondary use as a Vesta case, hence the ribbed striking surface to the top of the lid. All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality nickel plated letter opener / paper knife issued to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V in 1935. This fine example has a grip of Royal Blue enamel with a cameo to each side of The King & Queen and all surmounted with a crown. The blade has engraved initials of the previous owner "W.H" and doe have a minor kink to the tip. Complete and in good order.

This superb pair has very detailed embossed designs of fuchsia flower and leaves to each tier and are mounted on rectangular bases with acanthus leaf borders. Some old repairs, some stamens missing from the lower flowers on rack and both the bases have been refilled with plaster of Paris as original. All is complete and in good order otherwise but no signs of a maker's details. Base 3.5" x 2.5" and total 7" tall.

Doulton Isobath Patent Inkwell IW101
Original, quality late 19th century stoneware "Isobath Patent" resevoir inkstand, manufactured by Doulton for The De La Rue Company and Introduced in 1888". This most unusual example has a lift off lid to reveal the floating valve and when a pen is dipped in the hopper to the front, the floating valve will allow an equal amount of ink to feed back into the hopper. Sadly there is a chip under the lid but otherwise all is complete and in good order. It is not marked for Doulton but the lid has several symbols representing the artist or potter.

The base is in copper with curled over ends and the inkwell and lid are in brass with a ceramic ink pot within. The base of this inkstand is a miniature version of one of the tea trays designed by 'Benson'. A pretty and very usable inkwell by this sought after designer. Original, quality superb cast brass inkstand in the realistic form of a sundial on a pedestal on a paved area. The top sundial will flip over on a hinge to reveal the small replacement glass liner. The underside is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' and with the registration number for the year 1914. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. Original, quality mid to late 19th century Sheffield plated "Standish" with the original pair of cut glass inkwells. This super example has a highly pierced gallery on three sides all with a rope twist trim and stands on four fancy bracket feet. The inkwells also have a pierced frame for each to sit in and a matching hinged Sheffield plated cap. The upper surface of the tray has been engraved for a previous owner "M.H" and is bleeding through to copper in many areas. The underside is impressed with a rising sun maker's mark and "England". Original, quality, late 19th century, very decorative cast brass inkstand, with a screw on cut glass inkwell to the centre. The stand is of a clover leaf shape, with embossed decoration of leaves, stems and mythical beast heads and an acanthus leaf trim to the outer rim, all standing on three ball feet. The inkwell has a brass collar and hinge to the cut glass lid and apart from a few minor chips to the inside of the cap, all is complete and in good and working order. The underside has a maker's mark of "AFC" and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual example. 8.5" widest x 4.75" tall including inkwell.

Original, quality, moulded clear glass 'snail' shaped inkwell, mounted on a cast iron stand in the original bronze coloured finish. The sleigh shaped stand is decorated in relief, with acanthus leaves, has a pen rest to the top at the back and is impressed "Patented 1879". When the inkwell is tilted up, the neck is a flush fit to the back circular plate and when down enough ink is tilted forward for dipping the pen into. An ingenious invention which works very well and is a super find to have both pieces, still intact, barely used and still together. 3.5" tall x 2.5" wide and 5.5" front to back.
