	Doulton Salt Glazed Salt A149 Original, quality 1920's small Doulton salt-glazed table salt pot advertising, "Ye Olde Cock Tavern Founded 1549". 	Ovum Double Egg Cup A148 Original, quality 1920's white ceramic double egg cup with two different size cups, both ends are decorated in pale blue advertising "Ovum". 	Carltonware Guinness Cruet Set A139 Original, quality post-war three piece cruet set in cube form, advertising "Guinness for you" and a half pint glass of guinness alternating to the four sides. This set comprising a salt, a pepper and a mustard pot with lid, each marked to the underside for the maker "Carlton Ware and "Made in England, Trademark". Each has a plastic bung to the underside. The pepper and mustard pot are perfect but the salt has a hairline crack to one side or a scratch ? it's difficult to determine, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. 	White Mountain Apple Peeler AP10 Original quality cast iron apple peeler, circa 1880/1900, with much of the original green paint finish. 	Copper Ale Muller AM7 Original, quality late 19th century all copper "Donkey's Ear" shaped ale muller. These mullers were used to warm up ale in the hot coals of the fire. This good clean example has a rolled over seam and top rim, a pouring lip, a strap handle and good tinning to the interior. 	Oak Biscuit Barrel BB36 Original, quality oak circular biscuit barrel with a carved central band, the original white ceramic liner and nickel plated top rim, swing handle, circular lid and a shield shaped plaque to the front. The lid is impressed 'EPNS' for electro-plated nickel silver and the shield is engraved with some initials and "1889 - 1914". No cracks to the wood or the liner and the nickel has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. This clean example has a hinged lid with a nickel plated handle and a circular skirt with three ball feet. 	Carlton Ware Patent Biscuit Barrel BB33 Original, quality late 19th century decorated ceramic biscuit barrel with a silver plated top collar, lid and swing handle. This example is decorated in pastel coloured flowers and is detailed to the underside for the manufacturer "Carlton Ware" and with registration number for the year 1896. The most exciting thing is the automatic rising plated lid, activated when moving the swing over handle left to right. The metalwork has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. 	Crown Devon Biscuit Barrel BB32 Original, quality circa 1900, oval shaped ceramic biscuit barrel with a lid and the original cane handle. This super example is typical for "Fielding Crown Devon Ware" and is marked as such to the underside, although it is the first we have seen of this shape. All is perfect and complete. 	Huntley & Palmers Ceramic Biscuit Box BB31 Original, quality white ceramic biscuit box in the form of a chest of drawers manufactured expressly for Huntley & Palmer Biscuits of London & Reading in 1905. This example is one of a series of twelve china 'casket' shapes decorated to simulate a chest of drawers. Each lid was decorated with a different nursery rhyme by the artist / illustrator Walter Savage Cooper 1863 / 1943. This example has a picture to the top of the lid entitled "Little Tom Tucker, sang for his supper", the underside of the lid has a panel detailing "Huntley & Palmer Biscuit Reading & London" and "Copyright Nursery Rhymes" and the underside of the base has the Royal Doulton Mark and the registration number for the years 1905 / 1906. Some rubbing to the green lines to the top rim of the body section consistent with general use, otherwise in mint condition with no chips or blemishes and complete, although the lid is original, it does not fit snugly. 	Steel Bread Knife BK46 Original, quality circa 1900, bread knife with an unusual steel blade and a carved sycamore handle. The handle is carved "Bread" and the blade is engraved "Bread Knife" & "M.Hunter & Sons Cutlers Sheffield". Remember, these knives are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they do not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. 	Carved Bread Knife BK23 Original, quality late 19th century bread knife with a steel blade and a sycamore handle carved with details of ears of corn or wheat to both sides. 	Circular Terracotta Bread Pan BP23 Original, quality late 19th century circular terracotta bread proving pan often referred to as a "Pansion". This example has several copper staple type repairs, a hole drilled to the floor for drainage and glazing inside. 	Brass and Wrought Iron Bread Peel BP21 Original, quality late 18th / early 19th century blacksmith made long bread peel as used by Bakers to feed and remove bread in the deep ovens. This unusual example has a long blacksmith made wrought iron handle with a hanging eye to the top with the rectangular shaped perforated, sheet brass, peel riveted on with copper rivets. 	Terracotta Bread Pan BP19 Original, quality late 19th century terracotta bread proving pan ( pansion ). This example, glazed to the outside and the inside, has a rolled over top rim and some chips to the rim but otherwise complete and in good order with no cracks. 	10 Matching Steel and Bone Knives and Forks C67 Original, quality mid to late 19th century matching steel knives and forks with bone grips; comprising five knives and five forks. The knives have the earlier style of steel blade and are marked for "Rodgers of Sheffield" the cutler manufacturer and "VR" for the reign of Queen Victoria. The forks are two prong and shorter than most due to use and perhaps old damage. The bone grips on all have a checkered pattern, two rivets to each and oval steel plates to the end. Some minor pitting to the blades, but a very usable part set. Complete and in good and working order. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Knives 9.5" x 1" x 0.75". 	Maling Ceramic Cheese Dish & Cover CD30 Original, quality late 19th century circular cheese plate with the matching domed cover. Both pieces have transfer decoration of woodland flowers surrounding a framed picture, The underside of the plate has the trademarks for the Maling china company and the registration number for the year 1887. 	Blue and White Dairy Maids Cheese Dish and Cover CD27 Original, quality late 19th century superb wedge shaped cheese dish with a highly decorated cover with a handle to the top. The cover is transfer printed to the inside with the registration number for the year 1899 and the exterior is detailed to each side with a different scene in Blue transfer print. The top shows dairy maids milking a cow in the pasture; one side has a maid working the cheese press and the other side dairy maids pouring milk into the setting pan. The front and back both have floral designs. No cracks or chips but some stains to the floor of the tray dish, otherwise in superb condition. A most unusual cheese dish. In good usable condition. 	Horseshoe Shaped Cheese Dish CD12 Original, quality 1920's, large horseshoe shaped ceramic cheese dish with cover. This example appears unused for there are no fat stains and all is in mint condition with just a short faint hairline crack to the top back panel of the lid. 	Kenrick No1 Cast Iron Coffee Grinder CG63 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron coffee grinder with a brass maker's plate to the front detailing "A Kenrick & Sons Patent Coffee Mill", a brass knob to the pull out front drawer, a brass hopper and a cranked cast iron handle with a turned wooden grip. Both the drawer and the body are impressed '1' for the size. The side lugs enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or a table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside when the drawer is removed. The cast iron body still has most of the original black japanned finish and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	Hawkins and Co Coffee Grinder CG60 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron coffee grinder with a brass maker's plate to the front detailing "Hawkins & Co Warranted", a brass knob to the pull out front drawer, a brass hopper and a cranked handle. The side lugs enable the grinder to be mounted to the shelf or table and the grind can be adjusted with a screwdriver from the underside with the drawer out. A good repair to the drawer front, the brass has polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the ironwork repainted black. All is complete and in good and working order. The first we have seen of this make of coffee grinders. 6.75" tall including handle. 7" wide including handle. 	Cast Brass Heavy Scoop or Ladle CH114 Original, quality late 19th century heavy cast brass egg shaped scoop or ladle with a very shapely connection of the stem and scoop, a turned mahogany handle and a brass end piece. We are not sure what this was used for and would love to know, if you do know, please be so generous and let us know. 	Cast Iron Grisset CM2 Original, quality mid 19th century cast iron Grisset bowl in the form of a Tortoise Shell on four legs. The purpose of a grisset is to catch the drips of animal and bird fat whilst roasting on an open fire. A part peeled rush was then drawn through the fat as it cools down to form a rushlight. 	Copper Brasing Pan CP138 Original, quality mid to late 19th century rectangular shaped heavy copper brasing pan with cast brass handles to each end. One side is detailed for the manufacturer "La Fontaine Bros 8 & 11 Brewer Street W London". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. If required for use as a brasing pan it would need re-tinning but if for a bain-marie, it would not, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. Pan 17.75" x 14.25" x 2.75" tall. 	Benham & Froud Oval Copper Braising Pan CP133 Original, quality late 19th century oval copper braising pan with the original top cover. The interior of the main pan and the underside of the top cover are well tinned and suitable for use. The upper side of the cover is embossed "E.K. Wilson Ironmonger 5 Sussex Place S.W." and the underside of the base unit is impressed with the orb and cross logo for the manufacturer 'Benham and Froud' of London and Birmingham. The lower flange to the upper cover has minor dents but otherwise is complete and in good order and suitable for use. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Pan and lid only 10" tall plus 17" x 11.5". Total including handles 11.75" tall x 19.5". 	Benham & Froud Oval Copper Cookpot CP132 Original, quality late 19th century heavy oval copper cooking pan with brass handles to each end, good dovetailed seams to the underside and one end and a good tinned interior. The front is engraved "H.A.B" for a previous owner and the underside impressed with the orb and cross logo for the manufacturer "Benham and Froud of London and Birmingham". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order and very suitable to cook with. Body 19" x 11.5" x 8" tall. 	Benson Copper Dish CP119 Original, quality circa 1900, oval shaped copper cooking / serving pan with the original lid with a cast brass shaped finial. This very clean example has a bright nickel finish to the interior of both the pan and the lid and the underside of the pan is impressed 'Benson' for the manufacturer and designer W.A.S Benson. 	Copper Coffee Pot CP13 Original, quality late 19th century copper coffee pot with a tapered body, a hinged lid, a shaped spout and a side handle with a shaped wooden grip in the original japanned finish. This is probably the best example we have had of this model, of note also, is the heart shaped mount for the handle and the good tinned interior. 	Copper Coffee Pot CP1 Original, quality, early 19th century, copper coffee pot with a waisted body, a squared base and a hinged lid with a brass finial decorated with Acanthus leaves. This pot was originally Sheffield plated which has mostly worn away. All is original otherwise and complete, with no dents in sight. The spout has been off at some time but has now been reftted. 	JS&S Brass Crumb Tray and Brush CT20 Original, quality circa 1900, brass crumb tray and brush in a serious Art Nouveau design. The reverse of the tray is impressed 'JS&S' for the maker J. Sankey & Sons and the registration number for the year 1901. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The brush has one small set of bristles missing but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. This is a super example and very usable with a tablecloth. 	Benson Copper Foodwarmer / Hotplate HP5 Original, quality all copper food warming / heating tabletop cabinet circa 1900. This most unusual item, the first we have seen, was designed by W.A.S Benson and is stamped to the underside of one leg strut "British Made" with the three hammers and "W.A.S.B." logo. This cabinet has a hinged drop down flap to the front, with the original turned ebony knob, two spirit burners sitting on circular trays underneath and ceramic bun feet beneath the cast brass legs and stretchers. All is original, complete and in super condition with just minor repairs to the caps on the burners and replacement wick holder inserts to the burners made to suit copied from the original. 	Benson Insulated Jug J148 Original, quality insulated copper jug designed by W.A.S. Benson circa 1900, in the original nickel plated finish and of an unusual shape. The insulated interior has a nickel liner the conical lid has a shaped grip and hinge and the shaped body has a side strap handle and a good sized pouring lip. The grip to the lid is stamped "W.A.S. Benson's patent" and the strap handle is stamped "Bensons Patent". The front of this jug is also engraved "Presented to Mr & Mrs E.W. Stevens by Friends at South Norwood, October 1912". The nickel plating to the exterior is very bright and clean with some minor bleeding of the copper base to the edges. A most unusual example from the great iron founder from West Bromich. These were mounted onto the front of kitchen ranges or open fire fronts clipped onto the horizontal bar. These most unusual saucepans have a side seam, a rolled over top rim and a seam to the floor also. The flat wrought iron handles are fixed with copper rivets and both have a brass plaque detailing the registration number for the year 1884. The undersides are stamped "22JM" and "6" to the larger and "52JM" and "2" to the smaller, the 6 and 2 are for the pints capacity. 	Royles Patent Self Pouring Teapot TP39 Original, quality late 19th century silver plated on Britannia Metal patent self pouring teapot "Manufactured by James Dixon & Sons for J.S. Royle of Manchester". The J. Dixon 'Bugle' logo is detailed on the underside as is the patent number for the year 1886. When the teapot is filled and the lid is fitted, just lift the lid with your finger over the hole in the knob, then release the lid, as it falls the liquid will pour out of the spout into a strategically placed cup. This patent teapot was also manufacturered in a variety of materials, copper, brass, ceramic and glass. This example is complete and in superb condition and perfect to use. 	Copper Samovar TU19 Original, quality early 19th century decorative copper samovar / tea urn. The cast pink brass side handles are in the form of mermaids holding a clamshell, the cast brass tap to the front has much of its silver plated finish and the original green stained bone finial and the lid has a mythical fish finial over the vented cover. The urn shaped body is mounted on a slender neck on a square plinth with bun feet to each corner. A replacement cast iron heating bar has been fitted and the front of the main body has the original silver shield with a Georgian silver hallmark (see picture). All has been fully overhauled and been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. 18" tall. 12" wide. 14" front to back. 	Copper Samovar TU17 Original, quality early 19th century, fancy copper samovar/tea urn. The cast pink brass side handles are decorated with Acanthus leaf designs, the cast brass tap has a bone finial grip and the lid has a flower shaped finial/grip mounted above the vented area. The urn shaped body is mounted on a slender neck onto a shaped plinth with ribbed corner mounts and four bun feet. The rim on the plinth and the top rim have bands of pink cast brass as has the central body section. The heating bar and assembly to the inside is missing, but all is complete and in good and working order otherwise and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.
