	Brass Corinthian Column Electric Side Lamp SL428 Original, quality 1920's small brass electric side lamp in the form of a Corinthian column. This example has been rewired with a modern three-core silk-covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, an in-line switch and a three-pin plug. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. The shade is for display only. 11" tall. Base 3.75" x 3.75". 	Carburine Motor Spirit 2 Gallon Can PC15 Original, quality two gallon petrol can with the original brass screw on cap. This example is impressed to the back and front "Carburine Motor Spirit" and to the top "Not Ritmable", "Glico Peturnable Spirit". The brass cap is impressed "Carburine" and although this can has two or three pin holes to the side. All is complete and in good order otherwise. These cans were often fitted to the running boards of the earlier motor vehicles and were generally in use from 1910 to say 1940's. We have cleaned the can and lacquered it, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This is the first we have seen complete and in reasonable condition. 	Wrought Iron & Brass Dinner Gong G174 Original, quality late 19th century blacksmith made wrought iron stand with curled decoration within the wrought iron and to the feet and top carrying handle and has four turned brass finials within the frame and a large circular brass gong suspended to the open centre. The gong has hammered finish, a good loud sound and good resonance. The beater hangs to the rear of the gong on a wrought iron shaped hook. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted black and the brass gong and finials have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. 24.5" tall. 23.5" wide. 8.5" front to back. 	Palmerlite Electric Side Lamp SL429 Original, quality mid to late 19th century white glass stem and brass mounted, Palmer Candle lamp, converted to electricity. This superb fitting has a cast brass base in the form of acanthus leaves and flowers and very similar brass mounts to the top. The ribbed white glass stem is tapered towards the top and all is aesthetically very balanced in design, even though we have coverted it to electricity. The three-core silk-covered flex, three-pin plug, inline switch and brass bulb holders are all new fittings. Fully overhauled and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. 	Circular Brass Wall Plate WP5 Original, quality pre-war superb circular brass wall plate with embossed detail to the outer raised border and a galleon with billowing Sails to the centre. 	Pair of 1937 Coronation Busts CC278 Original, pair of Coronation Busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Issued for the Coronation of May 12 1937. These may well have been overpainted a gold colour or are in the original faded looking original paint. These busts are hollow and moulded in pale pottery, both are complete and both with the odd chip to the paint finish, otherwise complete and in good and working order. 6.25" tall x 4.25" widest. 2.5" front to back. 	Huge Servants Intercom Bell IB336 Original, quality late 19th century servants' larger than normal intercom bell with brass mounts, steel springs and a central brass boss. Can be pulled from either left or right. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Often now referred to as 'Downton Abbey' bells. This super example has a replacement brass central boss fitted copied from an original although all otherwise is original. This bell has a good tone and resonance and is complete and in good and working order. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted, and the brass polished and lacquered. 12" tall x 6" wide. 	Brass Rim Lock Latch DL117 Original, quality 1920's surface mounted cast brass door latch. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. A replacement keep has been made to suit. This latch has the provision for a handle turn and a security slide on the inside of the room, which overrides the handles and can be used on both left and right handed doors. This example has an outer flange with five screw holes for mounting and the keep has two. This latch is also reversible and has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer and is complete and in good and working order. 	Bevelled Wall Mirror M217 Original, quality 1920's rectangular shaped bevelled wall mirror with the original nickel plate on brass frame with top and bottom decorative mounts. 	Brass Umbrella Stand US118 Original, quality 1920's brass umbrella stand with ten sections supported by four brass tubular columns on a rectangular cast iron plinth with the original lift-out drip pan and the top is mounted with four shaped cast brass finials. The cast iron base and tin tray have been cleaned and repainted black and the brass polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	Brass Framed Bevelled Wall Mirror M216 Original, quality late 19th century oval shaped bevelled wall mirror with an "Art Novueau" hammered brass cladding with four decorative embellishments. 	Sirens Cast Iron Bicycle Stand C11 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron Cycle Stand embossed with scenes of rolling waves and rocks with "SIRENS" ( Mermaids ) to each corner and with the name "Sirens" to each end. 	1915 Brass Trench Art Shellcase SC311 Original, quality large brass shell case dated to the underside "1915". 	Pair of Brass Cabinet Handles CK555 Original, quality late 19th century brass cabinet handles of an unusual size. This example has the original brass backplates and brass nut with the knob and backplate with beaded borders and decoration. All are in fabulous condition, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. Backplate 1.75" diam. Knob 1.75" diam. 	Brass Firemans Helmet FF100 Original, quality, late 19th century superb, all brass fireman's helmet. Part of the original leather skullcap and leather to the chin strap, have both been made to suit copied from an original. The small brass buckle is also a replacement, but all the other brass fittings, including the chinstrap chain, are originals. This model was introduced in 1866, with the formation of the "Metropolitan Fire Brigade", which replaced the "London Fire Engine Establishment" maintained by insurance companies. This style remained in general use throughout the UK until the 1920's and those with the crossed axes badge were used by provincial, volunteers and Industrial Fire Brigades. All is in super condition and complete with no metal fatigue. Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. These weights were only in use for a very short period and were made illegal in 1903 or thereabouts. These examples are transfer decorated in green with "Imperial" and "4lb" or "2lb" or "1lb" to the top and "W&T Avery Ltd Birmingham" in ribbon swags to the front. These are in super condition with just minor blemishes. The original lead infills used to counterbalance the true weights are still present. 	Speaking Tube Fittings IT3 Original, quality 19th century fittings for an intercom system often referred to as 'speaking tubes'. These were mainly used in ships but were also used in chauffeur driven cars and the larger households of several floors who maintained staff. This example has a brass mount to connect two extensions and one has the original whistle and mouthpiece turned in rosewood which will unscrew from the brass mount both the brass chain and the forked tube are in the unpolished finish but can be polished to shiny brass on request for no extra cost. 	Shand & Mason Brass Fire Appliance FF99 Original, quality late 19th century heavy cast brass water pump with the original short leather hose pipe and the original ebony 'T' bar handle to the top. The original copper makers plate mounted to the main barrel is detailed "Shand Mason & Co, Fire Engine Makers, Upper Ground Street, Blackfriars Road London". This was used to stand in any water available, streams or ponds, to draw off water to the pump onto a burning fire. This one will probably work today I haven't tried it but it is complete.
