	6" Exterior Electric Bell Push EP556 Original, quality 1920's huge cast brass exterior electric bell push of a circular form with a large white ceramic central push button detailed "Press" in upper case text. This unusual example has a good clean dished backplate and "Press" in black and two countersunk screw holes for mounting. For use with a 12-volt, low-voltage electric supply system and transformer. 	Copper Horse Shoe HB12 Original, quality pre-war solid copper horseshoe. 	Ash Fully Fitted Wardrobe F379 Original, quality late 19th century fully fitted wardrobe in ash. This very clean example in the original finish can be dismantled into two main body sections plus the top cornice and base plinth, a total of four pieces. This wardrobe comprises the left-hand hanging section with an internal drawer to the base and the right-hand section has a twin-door cupboard with two adjustable shelves over four long drawers. The full set of original brass handles are in the unpolished finish but can be polished to shiny brass on request for no extra charge. All is original and complete and in good and working order. 	Vaseline Glass Lamp Shade S633 Original, quality late 19th century Vaseline glass gas shade with the original brass gas shade holder drilled out to fit a standard modern electric bulb holder. This shade has unusual shape with a clear Vaseline body flared out to a wavy edge with a thicker Vaseline colour to 1.5" of the rim. The brass shade holder is detailed for the manufacturer "Veritas Silver & British Made" and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	GR V Wall Mounted Cast Iron Posting Box PS84 Original, quality cast iron wall-mounted Post Office 'Post Box'. This model was always in a sub-post office which ensured it could be opened from inside the post office without going outside. Both the doors have a lock and key, the front door key is stamped "Chubb London" for the lock manufacturer and has two pins to the top to open and close the keyhole cover. The front door has the Monogram for King George V 1911 to 1936 and the posting slot in embossed "Post Office" to the cover with the King's Crown above in relief. This example has much of the old red paint but it would benefit from a blasting and repaint. All is complete and in good and working order. Front 33" x 13.75". Back 32" x 12.5". Posting slot 8" x 2". 	Kenrick Cast Iron Door Porter DP112 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron door porter with a rope twist ring grip to the top and acanthus leaf decoration to the body. The reverse is impressed "462" for the model number and "A. Kenrick & Sons" for the Iron Founders of West Brom. 	Day Son & Hewitt's Glass Measure VT70 Original, quality late 19th century clear glass beaker, acid etched to be used as a measure for "Day, Son & Hewitt's" and detailed as such to the front "Equal to one Packet" and to the reverse "Horse or Cow 1 Measure", "Colt or Heifer 1/2 Measure", "Calf Mouth, Sheep or Pig 1/4 Measure" and "Lamb". 	Robert Cor Rumbler Bell B328 Original, quality 17th or 18th century spherical shaped cast brass rumbler or crotal bell impressed with the petal design and "R" and "C" for "Robert Cor", the bell founder from Aldbourne in Wiltshire predecessor to the Robert Wells Foundry of the same location. 	Brass Rim Lock with Original Fittings RL908 Original, quality late 19th century brass surface mounted door lock with a decorated upper and lower flange for mounting, a replacement keep made to suit, a swinging keyhole cover, a roseatte shaped knob to operate the security / privacy slide and the original pair of matching oval ribbed door handles. This pair of knobs does include the fancy backplate with pierced decoration, a matching keyhole cover and an old key altered to fit. This lock has the provision for a handle turn, a key lock and a security slide on the inside of the room, which overrides the handles and the key lock. 	Cast Iron Rim Lock RL906 Original, quality late 19th century surface mounted cast iron rim lock with the original cast iron keep and a replacement key cut to fit. This unusual lock is embossed with acanthus leaf decoration to the face and keep and with detail embossed to the sides and the initials "R.E" for the maker. The key locking has a double throw and the sliding lever in brass to the end can be locked on with the brass knob. 	Gibbons Double Key Action Mortice Lock RL907 Original, quality late 19th century brass mounted mortice lock set with the faceplate marked for the manufacturer "Gibbons of Wolverhampton", two replacement keys cut to fit, replacement brass keep plate made to suit and two original double entry keyhole surrounds. The interesting lock, the first we have seen has brass casing all around and the two keys, different in barrel size and detail both override each other when in use, the true purpose of the locking mechanism is unknown but all is complete and in good and working order. 	Avery White Knight Grocers Scales & Weights S301 Original, quality late 19th century set of grocers' / butchers' counter scale with an original stack of seven brass weights 4lb down to 1/2 ounce. This most unusual example has an enamelled white on cast iron body, transfer printed "Avery White Knight" and "to weigh 20lb", a square ceramic slab, transfer decorated with a figure of The Scales of Justice and a circular cast brass tray to take the weights. The stacking weights are the standard number of circular brass ones. The brass has all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled and apart from some very minor chips to the enamel, a little discolouration and all is complete and in good and working order. Total scale 11" tall x 22" wide plus 11" front to back. 	Brass Fireside Shovel F751 Original, quality late 19th century all brass fireside shovel with a tubular stem, a very detailed cast brass urn shaped finial and a spade end with a pierced panel. 	Mahogany & Cast Iron Loo Roll Holder LR49 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's cast iron toilet roll holder mounted on an old light mahogany backboard. This board has a shaped top and a chamfered outer edge and the cast iron mount has the original wire and wooden roller and is embossed "Gordon Toilet Fixture" and with the Royal Coat of Arms. 	Robert Wells Servants Intercom Bell IB332 Original, quality late 19th century servants intercom bell with brass mounts, steel springs and a central brass boss. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system and can be pulled from either left or right. The inside of this bell is embossed "R.W" for Robert Wells the bell founder of Aldbourne in Wiltshire. 	Pair of Avery Ceramic 4lb & 2lb Weights W378 Original, quality pair of late 19th century W&T Avery ceramic grocers' / butchers' counter weights. These weights were only in use for a very short period and were made illegal in 1903 or thereabouts. These examples are transfer decorated in green with "Imperial" and "4lb" or "2lb" to the top and "W&T Avery Ltd Birmingham" in ribbon swags to the front. These are as near mint condition as you could hope for with just one miniscule blemish to the top of the "4lb" very near to "Imperial". The lead infills used to counterbalance to the true weights are present and more than that, they are both stamped in the lead with an identical customs and excise mark, 'VR' for the Reign of Queen Victoria over "572" and beneath the Crown for Queen Victoria. A wonderful pair of weights the best I have seen and complete. 	Jewellers Brass Blowlamp BL11 Original, quality late 19th century all brass Jewellers Blowlamp stamped to the body for the maker "Moore & Wright Sheffield England". This example would have a fitted rubber tube attached to the brass tube and the body filled with methylated spirits, the top was removed and the fumes lit. Air blown through the rubber tube by mouth puts a jet of flame out of the blowlamp across the flame giving out a very fine jet of flame. 	Brass Loo Door Lock Set LL109 Original, quality heavy brass loo door lock set, circa 1900 / 1920's complete with all the necessary pieces. This lock was manufactured for use with old pennies and all has been fully overhauled polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This lock is designed to be mounted on the outside of an inward opening door and is handed. When the coin is inserted, the locked door can be opened and when the bolt is drawn across on the inside, another coin will not be accepted for another person to enter. Only when the bolt is drawn back on the inside, can another person gain entry. Each time the bolt is operated the indicator will change from vacant to engaged or vice verca. 	1897 Presentation Silver Plated Galleried Tray T176 Original, quality late 19th century silver plated on nickel rectangular shaped tray with a very unusual gallery, four feet, and a grip handle to each end. This example has a very decorative pierced outer rim profusely engraved in great detail of acanthus leaves, acorns, oak leaves, thistles, roses and shamrocks and to the centre "Presented by The Congregation of St Georges-in-the-Fields Parish Church Glasgow along with a purse of Soverigns to the Rev, James Meikle M.A.B.D, on the occasion of this appointment as minister of the Parish of Alyth 29th June 1897". All is complete and probably one of the best silver plated tray we have seen. Some very minor rubbing, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Max 21.5" x 16" plus 4.25" tall. 	Pair of Brass Snakes NH9 Original, quality pair of 1920's / 30's cast brass "Rearing Cobras" probably of Indian origin and great lookers. The backs and front are engraved with detail and punch decorated to simulate the snakeskin. These are the first we have seen and have now been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good order. 9.5" tall x 8" front to back 4.5" widest. 	Quart Ceramic Ale Measure M290 Original, quality late 19th century two pint ( Quart ) white ceramic ale measure, with a side handle and transfer printed to each side with a dark blue illustration entitled "Barley" with a sheaf of Barley. The handle is decorated with ears of barley and the underside "E. Coaney & Cos", "Ko Dale Stone", "Dale End Birmingham" and with the registration number for the year 1891. The front is this measure is also acid etched in the glaze "Quart with a crown & V.R.6". Perfect in every aspect and complete. 6.5" tall. 6.75" wide including handle. Total 4.25" diam. 	Glass Newal Post Finial NP4 Original, quality late 19th century spherical shaped glass Newal Post Finial, probably continental. This super example has circular facets and a star design to the top all cut through the cranberry glass overlay to show clear glass. The brass foot is the original, although the base mounting plate with four holes for fixing is a replacement made to suit. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. There are a few minor chips to the glass and considerable scratching, otherwise all is complete and in good order. An unusual item to find today. 6.5" total height. Glass sphere 4.5" diam. 	Hiatt Mahogany Truncheon PT227 Original, quality 1920's standard Police Issue style truncheon with the original leather wrist strap. Mahogany is an unusual wood for truncheon for it is quite lightweight, the colour and grain say mahogany to me though. The strap is stamped Hiatt for the maker, a very well-known manufacturer of police and other security equipment. 	Boxwood Truncheon PT229 Original, quality late 19th century small truncheon turned in boxwood with a good tapered body towards the ribbed handgrip with a stop to the end. Boxwood is a super hard and pale in colour wood perfect for turning but sometimes it splits with age, this example has not and is complete and in superb condition. 12" x 1.5" x 1.5".
