Brass Vacant / Engaged Toilet Door Bolt LL111 Original, quality 1920's / 30's cast pink brass toilet door bolt set of five pieces. This example has a closed grip to the sliding bar, which includes a rubber stop to prevent damaging the wall when opening the door. The front square frame has a window to view "Vacant" and "Engaged" on an enamel disc, which will partly rotate, changing from Vacant to Engaged and back when the bolt is drawn across inside the room. The centre of this square frame has the facility to open the door in an emergency and an old clock key is included to use. The keep plate is a replacement made to suit. Pair of 30.5" Cast Brass Door Hooks & Eyes DH68 Original, quality late 19th century pair of cast brass door hooks and eyes of giant proportions, the largest we have seen. The stems have a decorative roundel every 2", and each hook comes with matching mounting plates with square brass backplates and also matching keeps. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good and working order.

London Mutual Insurance Society Brass Letter Flap LF361 Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's cast brass letter flap of good proportions. This example is engraved and inlaid with white enamel text "Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Ltd". Replacement nuts, bolts and washers fitted. Some damage to the white inlay, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order and can be polished back to pink brass if required for no extra cost.
