	Near Pair of Millers Oil Motor Vehicle Lights M144 Original, quality near pair of 1920's motor vehicle oil side lamps manufactured by "Miller of Birmingham" and marked as such to the fronts with a brass label and to the brass grips on the wick controls. These lamps are identical apart from a few small differences. The wick controls and the butterfly side locking bolts. The brass bezel to one lens has some metal fatigue but otherwise all is complete and in good order with no rust or cracks to the lens. All has retained an old black paint finish and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 9" tall. 7.5" wide including mounting bolts. 5" front to back. 	1937 Coronation Engraved Glass Tankard CC274 Original, quality clear glass pint tankard issued to commemorate The Coronation of King George VI on "May 12th 1937" with good engraved detail as such with the Royal Monogram & Crown to the front, "The Stuart Descant from Robert the Steward 1371 to King George VI 1936" to the reverse and to the underside "Only 1000 of these numbered tankards have been made by Thomas Goode & Co Ltd London, Copyright Herbert Goode 1937" and "This is No 162" within an engraved wreath. 	Sharpening Steel BS48 Original, quality late 19th century sharpening steel originally from a meat carving set. This pretty and usable example has a chip carved bone handle to simulate antler horn and silver mounts ( not hallmarked ). The steel is impressed "T. Although originally mounted as a downlighter, it could now be used both up or down. This example is impressed with the registration number for the year 1908. 	Leaded Glass Hall Lantern HL581 Original, quality mid to late 19th century chromed hall lantern with coloured leaded glass panels, this item was originally gas but has now been converted to electricity with a new three-core flex, a new chrome bulb holder and includes a length of new chromed chain and a chromed ceiling rose. Each panel of leaded glass matches each other in the pattern, although the colours vary within. The chrome has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 	Robert Wells Servants Intercom Bell IB334 Original, quality 19th century servants intercom bell with brass mounts, steel springs and a central brass boss. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system and can be pulled from either left or right. This example is embossed "R.W" to the inside of the bell for the bell founder "Robert Wells" of Aldbourne Wiltshire. The mounting plate, rear spring and central boss are replacements, copied from an original and made to suit. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Often now referred to as 'Downton Abbey' bells. The ironwork has been repainted, and the brass polished and lacquered but the lacquer can be removed on request for no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order. 10" tall x 4.5" wide. This model is always referred to as a "Doctors" knocker for it was most often found on country manor houses belonging to a professional person. ie Doctor, Dentist, Solicitor etc. Replacement washers fitted, otherwise all original and complete and in good and working order. 	Set of 7 Kenrick Cast Iron & Brass Weights W380 Original, quality full set of late 19th century circular, decorated cast iron shop counter stacking weights. The top two weights are in brass and are impressed "AK & Sons", "1oz" & "2oz". 	1/2lb Avery Ceramic Weight W379 Original, quality late 19th century W&T Avery ceramic grocers' / butchers' counter weight. These weights were only in use for a very short period and were made illegal in 1903 or thereabouts. This example is transfer printed "1/2lb" to the top "W&T Avery Birmingham" around the base and has retained the lead infill to the underside for counterbalancing to the true weight. 	Maling Ceramic Cheese Dish & Cover CD30 Original, quality late 19th century circular cheese plate with the matching domed cover. Both pieces have transfer decoration of woodland flowers surrounding a framed picture, The underside of the plate has the trademarks for the Maling china company and the registration number for the year 1887. With a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches. With replacement brass backplates made to suit. 	Pair of Avery Ceramic 4lb & 2lb Weights W378 Original, quality pair of late 19th century W&T Avery ceramic grocers' / butchers' counter weights. These weights were only in use for a very short period and were made illegal in 1903 or thereabouts. These examples are transfer decorated in green with "Imperial" and "4lb" or "2lb" to the top and "W&T Avery Ltd Birmingham" in ribbon swags to the front. These are as near mint condition as you could hope for with just one miniscule blemish to the top of the "4lb" very near to "Imperial". The lead infills used to counterbalance to the true weights are in present and more than that, they are both stamped in the lead with an identical customs and excise mark, 'VR' for the Reign of Queen Victoria over "572" and beneath the Crown for Queen Victoria. A wonderful pair of weights the best I have seen and complete. These were made by Wedgewood although not marked as such. 4lb = 3.5" tall plus 4.25" diam base 2lb = 3.25 tall plus 3 5/8" diam base Click on photo for larger and other views. Price: £1,350.00

	Jewellers Brass Blowlamp BL11 Original, quality late 19th century all brass Jewellers Blowlamp stamped to the body for the maker "Moore & Wright Sheffield England". This example would have a fitted rubber tube attached to the brass tube and the body filled with methylated spirits, the top was removed and the fumes lit. Air blown through the rubber tube by mouth puts a jet of flame out of the blowlamp across the flame giving out a very fine jet of flame. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order and appears unused. Body 1.5" diam. Total 9.25" tall. 	Etched Frosted Glass Lamp Shade S631 Original, quality circa 1900, acid-etched frosted glass gas lamp shade, with the original aluminium gas shade holder drilled out to fit a standard, modern, electric bulb holder. This faceted example has etched floral designs and a Maltese cross shape. The shade holder is marked "Bray No 790". 	C. Farlow Fishing Tackle Catalogue FE46 Original, quality late 19th century soft bound fishing catalogue from "C. Farlow & Co Ltd, The Angling Specialists". This very clean example is not dated but I suspect it is 1920's or 1930's and a mine of information of the time. Complete and in good order. 8.5" x 5.5" x 0.75". 	Brass Loo Door Lock Set LL109 Original, quality heavy brass loo door lock set, circa 1900 / 1920's complete with all the necessary pieces. This lock was manufactured for use with old pennies and all has been fully overhauled polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This lock is designed to be mounted on the outside of an inward opening door and is handed. When the coin is inserted, the locked door can be opened and when the bolt is drawn across on the inside, another coin will not be accepted for another person to enter. Only when the bolt is drawn back on the inside, can another person gain entry. Each time the bolt is operated the indicator will change from vacant to engaged or vice verca. All the fitting are original with the exception of the keys and the keeps these have been made to suit and now all is complete and in good and working order. A super brass loo lock. 	Silver Witches Ball WB9 Original, quality late 19th century medium sized spherical shaped silver coloured, glass witches ball. These were originally used to mirror the light around a room in the days when candle, oil or firelight was the only source of light other than naturally through the windows. 	1897 Presentation Silver Plated Galleried Tray T176 Original, quality late 19th century silver plated on nickel rectangular shaped tray with a very unusual gallery, four feet, and a grip handle to each end. This example has a very decorative pierced outer rim profusely engraved in great detail of acanthus leaves, acorns, oak leaves, thistles, roses and shamrocks and to the centre "Presented by The Congregation of St Georges-in-the-Fields Parish Church Glasgow along with a purse of Soverigns to the Rev, James Meikle M.A.B.D, on the occasion of this appointment as minister of the Parish of Alyth 29th June 1897". 	Quart Ceramic Ale Measure M290 Original, quality late 19th century two pint ( Quart ) white ceramic ale measure, with a side handle and transfer printed to each side with a dark blue illustration entitled "Barley" with a sheaf of Barley. This super example has circular facets and a star design to the top all cut through the cranberry glass overlay to show clear glass. 	Kenrick Cast Iron Door Knocker with Letter Flap DK418 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron vertical letter flap with an integral door knocker of the drop loop form. This most unusual example, the first we have seen, is embossed with "Letters" to the flap and otherwise all detailed with good Art Nouveau decoration. Replacement nuts, bolts and springs have been fitted and has been cleaned and repainted black. The reverse is impressed with the registration number for the year 1889 and for the manufacturer "A. 	7.75" Brass Door Bolt DB622 Original, quality late 19th century surface mounted brass door bolt with the original keep.
