Ebony & Brass Spirit Level SL102 Original, quality late 19th century ebony spirit level with a sliding cover over the bubble and two brass end plates to the underside. The top surface is mounted with the original six steel screws and is marked for the maker "Gleave Manchester". The central clear bubble is intact and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Preston Ebony Spirit Level SL99 Original, quality late 19th century ebony spirit level with a brass plate to the top, rounded ends, and brass end plates to the underside. The top brass plate has a decorative cut out window to view the clear spirit bubble and is detailed to each end for the manufacturer "E. Preston & Sons" to one and "Improved Warranted Correct" to the other.
