3 Piece Carving Set CS53
3 Piece Carving Set CS53
Original, quality late 19th century three piece steel meat carving set in the original fitted leather paper covered box, the base is lined in blue velvet and the lid blue silk, the interior of the box is rather worn but complete. The knife is etched for the manufacturer "E.T.Markham Sheffield Made", the sharpening steel is stamped cast steel and the fork has a good sprung guard. The grips are a super colour from use and all is complete and in good and working order. Very suitable for use as intended. Remember, these pieces of cutlery are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they dislike water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly. Box 20" x 6" x 2".
