	Lucas King of the Road Bakelite Ashtray A68 Original, quality 1920's unused circular bakelite ashtray with three cigarette rests and a nickel plated mount to the centre detailing "King of the Road" the Lucas Lion logo and "Lucas Service". 	Sirens Cast Iron Bicycle Stand C11 Original, quality late 19th century cast iron Cycle Stand embossed with scenes of rolling waves and rocks with "SIRENS" ( Mermaids ) to each corner and with the name "Sirens" to each end. The old black paint has been cleaned and waxed and the underside cleaned and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. 	Raleigh Cycle Co Jubilee 1937 Silver Award C10 Original, quality Hallmarked silver award of a rectangular shape mounted on the original ebonised backboard: This award is embossed in great detail to celebrate 50 years of trading 1887 to 1937. This award was presented to T.R. Stevens Esq by the Directors of The Raleigh Cycle Co Ltd of Nottingham, as a token of appreciation of over 20 years unbroken association with the company. 	Opening Ceremony Scissors CC136 Pair of original, quality, silver handled scissors used for an opening ceremony in Kingston-Upon- Hull in 1935, in the original shaped and fitted box. The case has a hinged lid, cream silk lining to the lid, black velvet to the base, gold tooled leather cloth to the outer and a gilded commemoration plaque to the top of the hinged lid. The plaque is engraved "Presented to Ald. A. Stark, J.P. and Lord Mayor of Kingston-Upon-Hull on the occasion of the opening by him of Hull's Super Service Station for Automobile Purchases (Hull) Ltd, 10th July 1935". The silver handled scissors are hallmarked for "Birmingham 1934" and engraved with the initials "A" and "S". All is in super condition, the scissors having little use only and the box is in near mint as you can get. What a most unusual opening ceremony. Box 9.25" x 4.25". 0.75" front to back. 	Art Deco Turkey Car Mascot CM56 Original, quality 1930's French Car Mascot in the Art Deco stylised form of a Turkey. This cast brass mascot was originally nickel plated but now only shows traces of the nickel. The circular base of this mascot is marked for the designer / sculpture "F. Bazin" for Frederick Bazin of Paris. All is in superb condition and recently mounted on a slab of polished marble. Mascot 6.5" tall x 2.5" x 3". Marble plinth 3.5" x 3.5" x 1.5". 	Chromed Hippo Car Mascot CM52 Original, quality post-war chromed car mascot in the form of a 'Hippo' probably manufactured by "L. Lejeune". The chrome plating is in super condition and the plinth has two threaded holes for the mounting bolts. Could this be the car mascot for The Leander Club ? One of the oldest rowing clubs in the world and based at Henley on Thames. All is complete and in good and working order. 2.5" tall. 4.75" long. Plinth 4.25" x 1.5". 	Rhodesia AA Badge CM47 Original, quality unused 1960's chromed "AA" (Automobile Association) motor car badge with a yellow backplate, the interlocking A's and the winged wheel logo to the top with "Rhodesia" above. 	AA Bengal Motoring Badge CM44 Original, quality 1930's chromed motor car badge with the King's crown to the top and detailed within the circular badge "Automobile Association of Bengal". 	New Zealand AA Motor Car Badge CM39 Original, quality post war chromed 'AA' motor car badge issued for the "New Zealand Automobile Association" and marked as such above the wings at the top. 	AA Industrial Vehicle Badge CM38 Original, quality, chromed hexagonal shaped industrial vehicle members badge for the Automobile Association. I." and the front has the membership number "V192268" and has two mounting holes to the base for fitting to the badge bar. 	AA Industrial Vehicle Badge CM37 Original, quality, chromed hexagonal shaped industrial vehicle members badge for the Automobile Association. The reverse is detailed "This badge is the property of the Automobile Association" and the front with the membership number "V279379". 	Rotax Copper Funnel F26 Original, quality 1920's / 30's all copper funnel with a hinged inner filter. This example, the first we have seen, has a hanging ring to the upper rim and is stamped "Rotax" to one side and "Water" to the other. Rotax developed a range of internal combustion engines for both cars and aeroplanes from 1920's. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. 8" tall x 6.5" x 4.75". 	Brass Motorist's Funnel F2 Original, quality 1920's/30's, oval shaped, brass motorist's filter funnel, stamped 'Halford' to the side of the tube and fitted with a fine brass mesh filter. 	Kohler Brass Signal Horn HH37 Original, quality late 19th century curved and flared nickel plated on brass, signal horn with a reed to the mouthpiece, a ring for the cord and impressed for the maker Kohler & Son 185 Piccadilly London" to the other. 	Silver Roundlett Coach Key K154 Original, quality silver cased folding carriage door key, Railway or Carriage ? Known an as "roundlett carriage key". This very clean example has a hallmarked two piece silver case with a steel carriage key in the original gilt finish. The hallmarks are a little rubbed, but this item would be circa 1900 and has an engraved monogram. Complete and in good and working order. 3.5" x 5/8" closed. 3.5" x 3" open. 	AA Key for Hotel Hospitality Box K105 Original, quality small steel 'AA' key issued pre 1st World War to fit 'AA Hospitality boxes installed at country hotels. These boxes contained towels and brushes etc for the use of members. These small keys with a fretted crossed 'AA' in the head are hard to find. 	AA Fibre Suitcase L28 Original, quality pre-war rectangular shaped brown fibre travelling wardrobe type suitcase fitted with a rail to the top and a hanging ring to the outside top to enable the open case to hang on the wall or wardrobe interior permitting the garment to hang down freely. This item is in super condition inside and out with a decorated blue lining, polished aluminium catches to the outside and most interesting of all, it has the retained the circular paper label for the owner's details and the membership number of the 'AA' Automobile Association. 	Near Pair of Millers Oil Motor Vehicle Lights M144 Original, quality near pair of 1920's motor vehicle oil side lamps manufactured by "Miller of Birmingham" and marked as such to the fronts with a brass label and to the brass grips on the wick controls. These lamps are identical apart from a few small differences. The wick controls and the butterfly side locking bolts. The brass bezel to one lens has some metal fatigue but otherwise all is complete and in good order with no rust or cracks to the lens. All has retained an old black paint finish and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 9" tall. 7.5" wide including mounting bolts. 5" front to back. 	Lucas Brass Car Horn M141 Original, quality pre-war all brass motor car horn with a replacement rubber bulb. This super example is complete for mounting on the car body, the grille is perfect as is the logo badge for the manufacturer "Lucas King of The Road". Some minor dents and all is complete and in good and working order. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. 17.5" long including bulb. 	Terry's Steel Clip Lamp Bracket M134 Original, quality 1920's strong wrought iron spring clip produced by Terry's of Redditch ( The inventor of the Angle Poise lamp ). This was manufacturer to enable a cycle lamp to be clipped to the basket on the front or rear of a cycle or motor cycle. The front is detailed "Terrys Clip Lamp Bracket Patented" and "Doctors say Terry's Saddle Protects the Spinal Nerves & Prevents Soreness". 	Galvanised Petrol Can M130 Original, quality 1920's cylindrical galvanised motoring petroleum spirit can with a ring handle to the shoulder and a screw in filler cap to the top with an internal retaining chain. The shoulders are embossed for the supplier of the original contents "Carless Carpel and Leonard Ltd" and "Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable". 	Motorcycle Carbide Rear Light M120 Original, quality, circa 1910/1920s small brass carbide rear lamp with mounting bracket for a motorcycle. This super find has a red faceted reflective glass and is in near mint condition, no dents or metal fatigue, sadly no makers name either. 	Lucas Petrol Squirt OC71 Original, quality 1920's nickel plated on brass petrol squirt, detailed to one side for the manufacturer "Jos Lucas Ltd Birmingham" and 'Vesta' for the model. 	Carburine Motor Spirit 2 Gallon Can PC15 Original, quality two gallon petrol can with the original brass screw on cap. This example is impressed to the back and front "Carburine Motor Spirit" and to the top "Not Ritmable", "Glico Peturnable Spirit". The brass cap is impressed "Carburine" and although this can has two or three pin holes to the side. All is complete and in good order otherwise. These cans were often fitted to the running boards of the earlier motor vehicles and were generally in use from 1910 to say 1940's. We have cleaned the can and lacquered it, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This is the first we have seen complete and in reasonable condition.
