Patent Boot Jack BJ16 Original, quality late 19th century brass and oak "bootjack". This super example has a carpet inlay to the shoe shape controlling the jaws, a brass trim around the foot shape and sprung fitted cast iron jaws to grip the shoe to be removed. All are mounted on an oak platform which has been cleaned, waxed and the brass and steel has all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual item.
