Original, quality late 19th century brass and oak "bootjack". This super example has a carpet inlay to the shoe shape controlling the jaws, a brass trim around the foot shape and sprung fitted cast iron jaws to grip the shoe to be removed. All are mounted on an oak platform which has been cleaned, waxed and the brass and steel has all been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. All is complete and in good and working order. A most unusual item.

Total 4" tall x 14.5" long x 4.75".

Lions Cast Iron Bootscraper BS57		Lions Cast Iron Bootscraper BS57
Original, quality mid 19th century cast iron bootscraper with a pair of cast iron lions mounted with a grid of scraping bars with a cast iron surround. A pair of brushes converted to fit have been installed. Some good repairs cleaned and repainted black. A grand bootscraper ready to use and costing just under half a grand. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century pan style cast iron bootscraper. This example has a rustic twig design to the outer rim and the centrally mounted scraper with four holes to the base for drainage. All in the old paint and complete and in good and working order.
