Copper Coffee Pot CP1
Original, quality, early 19th century, copper coffee pot with a waisted body, a squared base and a hinged lid with a brass finial decorated with Acanthus leaves. This pot was originally Sheffield plated which has mostly worn away. All is original otherwise and complete, with no dents in sight. The spout has been off at some time but has now been reftted. A super delicate example of an early coffee pot. The copper has been lacquered, but the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost if required.

Base 3" square.

Original, quality early to mid 19th century pierced copper bon-bon basket with remains of the original Sheffield plating to the inside. This example has a swing over pierced handle and an oval shaped foot. Polished and lacquered, although he lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Some minor dents, but otherwise complete and in good order.

Original, quality pair of mid 19th century copper egg cups with a finely pierced fret to the top, with the plating still to the interior and underside, although the main body shows only the copper to the outside. Original, quality, early to mid 19th century, silver plated on copper, two piece wine funnel. The top has a rope twist decoration to the rim and finger grip and the spout has a curve and three ribs. Some rubbing to the plating showing the copper bleeding through, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century Sheffield plated on copper half pint ale measure. This very clean example shows no wear to the silver plating, has a loaded plinth, a side loop handle and stamped to the front "No 1, ½ pint" and "VR" beneath a crown for the Reign of Queen Victoria. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Original, quality 18th or early 19th century quart copper tankard, originally Sheffield plated. This super example has a loop side handle and most of the Sheffield plating to the inside. Some minor dents to the handle otherwise complete and in good order. The underside of the top rim is stamped "Quart" over a shield motif and the front is also impressed "1. Quart". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Original, quality mid 19th century copper half pint ale tankard originally Sheffield plated. This elegant example has a side handle with a silver top mount stamped '36', a nickel rim to the top and the initials "T.G" punched to the front. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Travelling Shaving Mug SB48
Original, quality late 19th century Sheffield plated, campaign type, shaving Etna with a hinged lid to the base to conceal the spirit container and a hinged top lid to reveal the foldout side handle. This item has been later engraved to the top of the lid as a presentation, detailing "Military Police Sports, Wiesbaden 1926". Not sure how it is heated although a container for the meths spirit is included in the base. What is here, is all in good order and the silver plating is in exceptional condition apart from the rubbing around the engraved detail, obviously from cleaning it often. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and generally in very good order but possibly not complete.

Original, quality, early 19th century, copper snuff box with a 3/4 hinged lid, a serpentine shaped front, beading to the top and bottom rims and an inset Georgian coin to the top of the lid. This was originally Sheffield plated, but only the plate to the inside remains. A few stain marks to the interior, otherwise all is complete and in good order. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed if required at no extra cost.

Original, quality late 19th century small oval shaped copper tray with a brass bead to the outer rim and four bracket feet. This example was Sheffield plated and has a very faint engraving detailing "Private William Littler, winner of the 2nd prize sword competition B. Troop, Lancashire Hussars 1886". These sized trays were often used for calling cards on the hall table. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 18th or early 19th century Quart sized, baluster shaped Sheffield plated tankard. The silver plating can still be seen beneath and inside the, lid the inner rim of the body and the underside. This example has a wonderful shape and decoration to the side handle and has a silver shilling dated 1794 to the centre of the lid. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order.
