This super example has the original hallmarked silver gilt piano type hinge. The hinge is clearly hallmarked and with "Betjamanns Patent" and "Made in England". Complete and in good and working order with not a blemish in sight.

Price: £95.00 Opening Ceremony Scissors CC136 Pair of original, quality, silver handled scissors used for an opening ceremony in Kingston-Upon- Hull in 1935, in the original shaped and fitted box. The case has a hinged lid, cream silk lining to the lid, black velvet to the base, gold tooled leather cloth to the outer and a gilded commemoration plaque to the top of the hinged lid. The plaque is engraved "Presented to Ald. A. Stark, J.P. and Lord Mayor of Kingston-Upon-Hull on the occasion of the opening by him of Hull's Super Service Station for Automobile Purchases (Hull) Ltd, 10th July 1935". The silver handled scissors are hallmarked for "Birmingham 1934" and engraved with the initials "A" and "S". All is in super condition, the scissors having little use only and the box is in near mint as you can get. What a most unusual opening ceremony.

Price: £145.00 Silver Interior Pendant Electric Bell Push EP486 Original, quality 1920's probably continental silver, interior pendant electric bell push, rewired with two core silk covered flex. This most unusual example is decorated in relief with a crow like bird, three to each side. For use with a 12 volt, low voltage electric supply system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled, some minor dents but otherwise complete and in good and working order.

This example, from a range of products manufactured by Doulton, has lots of simulated rivets, several simulated dents and a hallmarked silver top rim. Other matching items may well be available. The underside is impressed "Doulton Silicon Ware" and with the registration number for the year 1889 and all is complete and in good order.

Known an as "roundlett carriage key". This very clean example has a hallmarked two piece silver case with a steel carriage key in the original gilt finish. The hallmarks are a little rubbed, but this item would be circa 1900 and has an engraved monogram. Complete and in good and working order.

Price: £135.00 Memento of Boer War 1901 Plated Dish P36 Original, quality silver plated bread basket / bowl with a deep embossed decoration of flower designs. The reverse is detailed for the manufacturer "James Dixon E.P.N.S" and the front is engraved "A memento of July 27th Boar War 1901" and "Given to Mrs Uppleby". The silver plate is only rubbed where engraved and the rest is bright and clean. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order.

Price: £89.00 Silver Engraved Presentation Trowel P32 Original, quality superb hallmarked and engraved silver presentation trowel with a turned hardwood handle. The greatest surprise is this is not an antique, both the engraving and hallmark are for 1976. Nevertheless, it is a super example in every aspect. One side of this trowel is completely engraved in acanthus leaf decoration with the inscription to the inner panel detailing "presented to Mr M.B.L Fuller to commemorate The Topping-out ceremony at St Paul's House, Canterbury on 29th April 1976". The reverse side has the Birmingham Hallmark for 1976". All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order.

Price: £265.00 Lincoln Imp Enamel and Silver Spoon P23 Original, quality Hallmarked silver presentation spoon in the original blue silk and velvet lined box with a "leather paper" covering. The silver spoon, the size of a breakfast cereal spoon, has embossed detail of "Lincoln Cathedral " to the bowl, with the Lincoln Imp sat at the base of the decorated stem and an enamelled coat of arms for Lincoln to the top. The reverse has the silver hallmark and a registration number for the year 1901. All is in super condition.

This example has a two tone glazed colour and applied illustrations of hounds running around the jar and a variety of poses of gents sitting drinking or smoking. The underside is impressed for maker "Doulton Lambeth England". One minuscule chip to the rim of the lid, otherwise complete and in good order.

The milk jug and sugar bowl have hallmarked silver rims and are perfect and the teapot has an old repair to the side handle, a hallmarked silver rim,spout and chains with collars to attach the lid to the side handle. The underside of each piece is impressed by "Doulton Lambeth", "E A G", "1879", "AG", "H W" for the maker and a variety of decorators. Apart from the old repair to the handle on the teapot, all is complete and in good order.
