Original, quality circa 1900, oval shaped copper cooking / serving pan with the original lid with a cast brass shaped finial. This very clean example has a bright nickel finish to the interior of both the pan and the lid and the underside of the pan is impressed 'Benson' for the manufacturer and designer W.A.S Benson. A most unusual dish, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of brass and copper candlesticks circa 1900. These super candlesticks in a serious Arts & Crafts style has a resemblance to the designs by W.A.S. Benson but are not marked as such. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality all copper food warming / heating tabletop cabinet circa 1900. This most unusual item, the first we have seen, was designed by W.A.S Benson and is stamped to the underside of one leg strut "British Made" with the three hammers and "W.A.S.B." logo. This cabinet has a hinged drop down flap to the front, with the original turned ebony knob, two spirit burners sitting on circular trays underneath and ceramic bun feet beneath the cast brass legs and stretchers. All is original, complete and in super condition with just minor repairs to the caps on the burners and replacement wick holder inserts to the burners made to suit copied from the original. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

20" wide.

11.5" front to back.

Burners 3.5" diam at base.

2.5" tall including cap.

Benson Copper Inkstand IW94
Original, quality circa 1880 / 1900 Art & Crafts design copper and brass inkwell designed by "W.A.S Benson" but not stamped to that effect. The base is in copper with curled over ends and the inkwell and lid are in brass with a ceramic ink pot within. The base of this inkstand is a miniature version of one of the tea trays designed by 'Benson'. A pretty and very usable inkwell by this sought after designer. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

The underside is impressed with the shield mark enclosing three hammers for "W.A.S. Benson". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. Other sizes of this example may well be available in this same section.

Original, quality insulated copper jug designed by W.A.S. Benson circa 1900, in the original nickel plated finish and of an unusual shape. The insulated interior has a nickel liner the conical lid has a shaped grip and hinge and the shaped body has a side strap handle and a good sized pouring lip. The grip to the lid is stamped "W.A.S. Benson's patent" and the strap handle is stamped "Bensons Patent". The front of this jug is also engraved "Presented to Mr & Mrs E.W. Stevens by Friends at South Norwood, October 1912". The nickel plating to the exterior is very bright and clean with some minor bleeding of the copper base to the edges. All is complete and in superb condition.

This example was manufactured to a design by WAS Benson, has an insulated liner and the original turned cow horn knob to the top of the hinged lid. The brass side strap handle is impressed to the reverse "W.A.S. Benson Patent". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good order.

Original, quality circa 1900, copper teapot of an Art & Crafts form with brass fittings. The underside has the impressed mark of three hammers in a shield for the maker and designer W.A.S Benson. Some staining to the interior and casting marks to the rim of the teapot, otherwise complete and in good and working order. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.
