Huntley & Palmers Card Advert A172 Original, quality 1930's shop card advert with a coloured illustration of "HRH The Prince of Wales" later to become the abdicated King Edward VII. This example has "by appointment" above with the Prince of Wales Feathers and beneath for "Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London England". This example has been framed and glazed recently. The two eyes to the top originally held a cord for wall hanging and all is complete otherwise but with some scuffs and rubbing. The first we have seen of this advert.

Huntley & Palmers Ceramic Biscuit Box BB31 Original, quality white ceramic biscuit box in the form of a chest of drawers manufactured expressly for Huntley & Palmer Biscuits of London & Reading in 1905. This example is one of a series of twelve china 'casket' shapes decorated to simulate a chest of drawers. Each lid was decorated with a different nursery rhyme by the artist / illustrator Walter Savage Cooper 1863 / 1943. This example has a picture to the top of the lid entitled "Little Tom Tucker, sang for his supper", the underside of the lid has a panel detailing "Huntley & Palmer Biscuit Reading & London" and "Copyright Nursery Rhymes" and the underside of the base has the Royal Doulton Mark and the registration number for the years 1905 / 1906. Some rubbing to the green lines to the top rim of the body section consistent with general use, otherwise in mint condition with no chips or blemishes and complete, although the lid is original, it does not fit snugly. Otherwise all complete and in good order. Another identical biscuit box may be well available ref code: BB35.

Pair of Huntley & Palmers Egyptian Vase Biscuit Tins T115 Original, quality pair of Huntley & Palmers Biscuit tins in the form of Egyptian Vases and entitled the same. This model issued in 1924 was designed as a direct result of the November 1922 Carter / Carnarvon discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of Kings in Egypt. These tins are in super condition with just some rubbing to the lift-out lids, otherwise in near mint condition to the original finish and complete and in good order.

This example was manufactured for export only in 1888 and is entitled "Festal". The underside is impressed for "Huntley & Palmers, Biscuit Manufacturer, Reading & London". Some minor scratches and rubbing otherwise complete and in good order.

Huntley & Palmers Biscuit Tin T52 Original, quality, Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin issued in 1927, made to resemble a sandlewood casket. This tin is embossed with frieze designs of Indian elephants, the tin has a hinged lid with a push button and a catch to the front. The underside is etched "Huntley & Palmers Reading and London". Generally in good order and complete with some rubbing but no dents or damage.

This is in the form of the Huntley & Palmers 'Albert' biscuit and was originally covered in biscuit coloured paint. Impressed to the front, as in the biscuit 'Huntley & Palmers Albert' and to the reverse "Made in Vienna". Complete and in good and working order.
