Original, quality silver plated punch bowl profusely embossed and engraved with acanthus leaves, swags and flowers. One side is engraved "House Athletics G.S. Shephard, Winner of The Mile Handicap Scratch, Eton 1902" and to the other side "Winner of The Long Jump Hcp, 2nd in, Quarter Mile and Hundred Yards". The underside is stamped for the maker "Rowell Eton" and all is in near mint condition with no dents or wear to the silver plate.

Huge Cast Iron Company Seal Press
Original, quality late 19th century, company seal press in cast iron with brass mounts, the most elaborate we have seen. This fabulous example has the original gilt decoration to the body and base and to the pair of heavy flyweights and has a brass locking pin with provision to take a padlock. The printing block is detailed with a company crest and "Hampshire Committee Insurance". The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.

Brass Electric Desk Lamp
Original, quality 1920's all brass electric reading / desk lamp with the original brass trough shade. This unusual example has an Art Nouveau feel above it and is well about average in quality with the cushioned shade ends and shaped lever to alter the angle at the base. This lamp is adjustable with two actions 1. the lever at the base and 2. the movable shade and has a heavy weighted circular base. All has been fully overhauled, rewired with new three core silk covered flex, a new pull cord switched bulb holder and a new three pin plug. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

5 Branch Brass Electric Light Fitting
Original, quality 1920's cast brass continental five branch electric light fitting in the 'Empire' style with the original brass ceiling rose and a length of replacement brass chain. This example has rams head decorations, gryphon or eagle heads, acanthus leaves and laurel leaf swags. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and new brass UK bulb holders and replacement card candle look-a-likes have been fitted to cover the bulb holders. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Pair of Ferns Under Glass Fingerplates
Pair of original, quality late 19th century glass fingerplates with pressed ferns and other leaves mounted behind on paper backing. The bevelled glass panels have a cut decoration all round the inner edge of the bevel. The backs are in tin, sealed over the rear edge of the glass and show remains of the original cream paint colour and each plate has two countersunk screw holes through the glass for mounting. Some staining around the two screw holes and one very tiny chip to one corner ( see picture ). Otherwise all is complete and in good order and the first we have seen.

Set of 4 Brass Electric Wall Lights
Original, quality 1920's set of four matching heavy cast brass single branch electric wall lights. These super examples have large circular backplates, each with three screw holes for mounting and a shaped arm with a sconce drip pan. These have been rewired with new three core flex and new brass bulbholders. Replacement card candle look-a-likes have been fitted to cover the bulb holders and all has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. The "drip pans" are modern brass replacements.

Original, quality 1920's near mint condition enamel advertising sign with ten screw holes for mounting, showing a coloured sack of "animal feed nuts" and detailing "Premier Products, Linseed Cakes & cotton cakes, soya - cotton, treacle nuts Ewe & Lamb Nuts, Grass nuts, Feed nuts, manufactured by Wray Sanderson & Co Ltd Seed Crushers Hull". Also stamped for the sign manufacturer "Imperial Enamel Co. Birmingham". Complete and in good order.

This clean example is impressed "14lb" to the top of the grip and "Standard" and other customs marks to the shoulders. The base is impressed "Bury Shopkeepers Association". Chromed Rim Lock and Pair of Handles
Original, quality 1920's chrome plated surface mounted door lock with the original key and keep and a pair of oval shaped chromed door knobs to suit. Will take a standard modern square bar for the handles. This lock has the provision for a handle turn and a key lock. Cleaned, lacquered and fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.

Gerrard Hartebeest
Original, quality Hartebeest upper skull and horns mounted on a shield shaped oak backboard by Gerrard and Sons. This super mount has the original paper label to the reverse for the Taxidermist "Edward Gerrard & Sons of Camden Town London N.W.I" and also detailed in white paint "Hartebeest A 7975". The front of the shield is painted "Northern Territories Gold Coast 1929". An extremely good example by these renowned taxidermists, in super condition.

Morris and Sons Fire Engineers Double Whistle with Chain
Original, quality 1920's nickel plated double ended whistle with the original nickel chain with buttonhole hook. This hard to find example incorporates two whistles, each of a different principle and sound, one with a pea and the other without and is detailed "The Metropolitan Patent", "J. Morris & Sons Fire Engineers Manchester". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order. The first we have seen.

First World War Trench Art Shell Case
Original, quality First World War brass shell case base, trench art punch decoration for use as a jardiniere. The decoration depicts a deer stag at the riverside with bullrushes and mountains. The top rim is crimped and the base is stamped "1910", "Dusseldorf" and "RLMF". Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and in good order.

WT&S Wall Mounted Dinner Gong
Original, quality superb cast brass on oak wall mounted dinner gong manufactured by William Tonks and Son of Birmingham with a lion's head on a scrolled brass mount, all mounted on a rectangular shaped honey coloured light oak backboard with a hook for the brass shafted beater beneath. The circular brass gong is suspended from the lion's jaws and has a textured finish. The backboard has a brass wall hanging plate to the reverse and this and the oak backboard is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham'. The backboard is also stamped with the registration number for the year 1912. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order with a super deep tone and resonance. The backboard has a slight warp but is in good order otherwise.

Pair of Chromed and Pierced Fingerplates
Pair of original, quality, fretted chrome on brass heavy and decorative door fingerplates, circa 1900. These superb examples are rectangular with shaped ends and the pierced design has a vase form with flowers and vines. Each end has a solid circular section with a star motif which unscrews to reveal the pair of countersunk screw holes for mounting. All has been polished and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality boxed set of twelve 1930's / 40's unused stainless steel dinner knives with serrated tips to the blades and real stag horn antler handles. Atkins Rosewood Spirit Level
Original, quality late 19th century large Rosewood spirit level with inset brass plates to the ends and sides and a decorative shaped plate with windows to view the spirit bubble. Original, quality late 19th century engraved brass candlesticks set with agate carbachons. The circular bases each have three agates and engraved designs of fern leaves and flowers and the drip pans again are engraved with more simple detail. This pair of candlesticks would probably have been part of a desk writing set to include perhaps an inkwell, blotter, stationery box and even a postal scale. Pair of Brass Door Handles
Original, quality late 19th century superb pair of cast pink brass door knobs in the well detailed form of poppy seed pods in the Art and Crafts manner. The backplates have a milled edge and concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting and the threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system will fit standard mortice locks and latches. This is the first pair we have seen of this model and am informed they came from either Hampton Court Palace or Buckingham Palace during a refit. Complete and in good and working order.

Large Swan Dairy Shop Fresh Egg Display
Original, quality 1920's large ceramic Swan Shop Display container for Fresh Eggs ?, Fresh Fruit ? or flowers perhaps ? This super example has some damage but is a stunner nevertheless. The head has been off and glued back, there is an old hairline crack to the neck, the tip of one wing feather is missing and there is a nice old crazed finish overall. The underside is embossed "No 2 England".

Deep Copper Fry Pan
Original, quality 1920's / 30's heavy gauge deep copper frypan with sloping sides and a heavy cast brass side handle with a hanging hole to the end. This huge Hotel Quality pan is stamped to the side "L.S" for a previous owner and with the logo for the manufacturer "Leon Jaegi & Sons Ltd Coppersmith 29 Dean St London W.1". Has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Would require re-tinning if needed for cooking, otherwise complete and in good and working order.

Copper Ice Cream Bombe
Original, quality late 19th century smaller than normally found three piece ice cream bombe with a good tinned interior, a lift off lid with a ring grip and a screw on / off brass foot which is also a release 'valve' when emptying the ice cream out. The side is impressed "Temple & Crook Motcomb St SW" (London) and "6" and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality circa 1900, curved enamel plaque with yellow detail on a bright green background. Each corner has a countersunk screw hole for mounting to a telegraph pole. Carved Oak Bellows
Original, quality pair of late 19th century carved oak fireside bellows. These bellows have been fully refur-bished with new leather and brass studs and are now complete and in good and working order. The brass nozzle has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the rest hs been cleaned and waxed. The top has carved acanthus leaf designs and a motto? "Wind Feeds Fire" and "Words Ire".

This unusual example turned in Walnut has ivorine fittings and is fashioned in the form of an acorn. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.
