Original, quality 1920's brass electric reading lamp with a weighted rectangular shaped brass base with a beaded decoration and mounted with a curved square tube arm on a knuckle fitting, with a swivel top mount supporting the bulb holder. The curved stem has an embossed "Greek Key Pattern". Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, in-line switch and a three pin plug and has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. The shade is not included in the price, but may be available; see our "Lamp Shades" section, item code S185. Base 6.5" x 3.75" and tallest 17.25".

Original, quality pair of late 19th century cast brass circular cupboard drawer / door knobs with a pressed brass circular backplate and a hand cut nut and thread. The front has a sunflower design in relief and the backplates have an embossed design of acanthus leaves. These super handles are in the original matt gilt finish and are complete and in good and working order. Backplate 1.3/8" diam and knob 1.3/8" diam. Knob 1" front to back and 0.75" thread. Original, quality circa 1900, large advertising mirror in the original frame. The mirror details "Cadburys Chocolate Delicious & Wholesome" and the bottom of the glass is etched "This is the property of Cadbury Bros Ltd Eng" and "Cadbury Bournville". Some very minor blemishes to the right side edge and the left hand lower corner. The original frame has lost most of its paint finish and we have repainted in black. The original backing board has been turned to hide when it was used as a notepad next to a telephone: see picture. Otherwise all original and in superb order and a great find. 36" x 25.75" exterior frame. 33.75" x 24" visible mirror. 1.5" front to back.

Ceramic Tilting Ewer and Basin JB54
Original, quality late 19th century three piece set of cream coloured ceramic tilting Ewer on a stand with matching rectangular shaped Basin / Wash bowl. The stand is embossed to each side and gilt lining to the edges and the basin and ewer have matching transfer floral decoration of pale purple and pink clematis type flower and leaves and both the ewer and bowl are impressed to the underside with the registration number for the year 1891. Some minor stains to the interior of the basin and one lug restored to the pivot area of the ewer. A really super tilting wash basin set the first we have seen of this model and ready for use. Ewer on stand 12.5" x 9" front to back and 14" tall. Bowl 15.75" x 13" x 5" tall. Price is for the set.

Original, quality post-war white ceramic water jug with an overall blue on white Willow Pattern further detailing"Why Not a Schweplet It Will Improve Your Whisky" to both sides. This example has a pouring lip and a jug handle, is transfer printed to the underside for "James Green & Nephew Ltd London & Hanley". A super little advertising jug but the downside is a short 5/8" long hairline crack to the top rim "down the side". Original, quality mounted display of a Rolls Royce Merlin Engine Valve Rocker Arm and a directional Lynro Rotor, both items from a Spitfire VB R6897. This Spitfire saw action in the Battle of Britain and subsequently crashed 28.01.43 after a mid-air collision with another Spitfire AB847. These items have been recently mounted on a hardwood plinth with the details to the reverse. All in good order. 7" x 3.5" x 3" tall.

Original, quality 19th century copper jelly mould probably manufactured by Benham & Froud, although not marked as such but is impressed to the side "Registered April 29th 1863" and referenced to The Alexandra Star after Queen Alexandra Queen to King Edward VII. This example is in superb condition inside and out, although it would need re-tinning on the inside if wanted for use. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good and working order. 6.5" tall x 5.5" widest.

The side handle is fixed to the saucepan with a rivetted heart shaped plate, and the lid has a copper strap handle stamped "4".
