Buttonhole Flower Holder BH1
Original, quality patented 1913 nickel plated holder for a gentleman's buttonhole flower. This clever item was worn in the lapel buttonhole of the Gent's jacket and filled with water, the inner sleeve would grip the bloom and then inserted in the holder thus providing freshwater, which could be topped up throughout the day, the inner sleeve is stamped with the patent number for the year 1913. Complete and in good and working order.

Marble Pestle and Mortar PM42
Original, quality early to mid 19th century white marble mortar with a composition pestle with the original turned fruitwood handle. The mortar, unusual in marble has the classical four ears to the thick bowl and is rather small for a solid marble one as against the normally found composition versions. The pestle is impressed '7' for the size and does have a minor chip but otherwise, all is complete and in good order and very usable.

Twist the ring to the top and the label to the front of the bottle releases to view the 'V' shaped cutting blade. The reverse is stamped "Made in Vienna". Unusual Copper Kettle K156
Original, quality early to mid 19th century oval shaped copper kettle with an embossed oval lid, a dovetailed seam down the back, an unusual turned fruitwood handle, the Royal Coat of Arms to the front and a standard type of pouring spout but also with two open tube supports for the handle, one with a smaller nipple aperture. The Royal Coat of Arms plaque is rather worn and therefore difficult to decipher and the strange groups of three rivets to the underside, were they originally for feet or ?. Note also the tall pouring spout. A good usable kettle despite all these unknown features. What was it for ? if you know please get in touch.

Original, quality 1930's / 40's wartime tinsmith made flit spray to kill lice and fleas in bedding, houses and livestock generally. This example has the tube and fan spray extension, a screw off cap and the wooden handle plunger all in the wartime green paint finish and an oval brass plaque detailing the maker "Willet & Robinson Ltd. Makers. Maidstone Kent". Washed and waxed and all appears complete and in good order.

No maker's name but all is in super condition with good tinning to the interior and no dents or blemishes. Perfect for use and complete.

Cast Iron Hallstand F350
Original, quality 19th century, stunning cast iron hallstand with seven cast iron hat or coat pegs, a central vertical mirror to the back, a shaped marble slab over a small pullout drawer with two umbrella sections left and right and a central column below, between the two corner shaped lift out cast iron drip trays. The tall back has four oval cameos in relief each with a farmer in different seasons, 1. Tithing the soil. 2. Sewing the seed. 3. Harvesting the crop. 4. Flailing the ears of wheat. The fretted panels between are detailed in relief with holly leaves and berries to the right and ivy leaves to the left. The drawer to the centre has the original wooden tray with a cast iron drawer front, again detailed in ivy leaves and the umbrella rails to each side and the main plinth to the floor are decorated with ivy leaves and berries in a "Greek Key Pattern" style. More and more can be described in great detail but needless to say, this hallstand is one of the best I have seen. All has been cleaned and lacquer finished, some good repairs have been made, the original mirror has a few blemishes but could be changed on request and one knob to the corner drip trays was missing and has a replacement made to suit copied from the other original. The reverse has a registration lozenge mark in relief for the year 1870 and all is complete and in good and working order. A serious piece of kit for it needs to be transported in sections, which will bolt together.
