Original, quality 1930's, steel cash box in the original simulated 'wood veneered' paintwork. This very clean example, with the original key, also has the original red paintwork to the interior, a lift out tray and a concealed alarm system under the false floor powered by replaceable batteries. Turn the key once to lock and twice to set the alarm and when the box is picked up the alarm is set off. Not only is the paintwork original inside and out, the original paper purchase receipt was stored in the battery area and dated December 19th 1933. Fully overhauled, complete and in good and working order. 9.5" x 7.5" and 5.25" tall.

Tin Cash Box CB5
Original, quality, late 19th century, small tin cash box in the form of a miniature tin travelling trunk. The original scrumbled bright orange / tan coloured paintwork has been retained to the outside, although a faded on the top. The interior is in Japanned black and originally had a lift out tray fitted. The brass mortice lock is stamped "Patent Lever" inside and out and "London", a replacement key has been cut to suit. The cast brass carry handle to the top is rather decorative, but also does the job well. A most unusual cash box, complete and in good and working order, with just the lift out tray missing. The brass has been polished and lacquered. 9" x 6" and 3.75" tall with handle down.

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass drawer handles in the form of a fist clutching a round bar. Replacement threaded brass bolts and steel washers have been fitted and all has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. These were probably from the drawers of a secure filing cabinet for they are very similar to the larger handles on Fireproof Safes manufactured by T & S Withers. Complete and in good and working order. Price is for each. 2" wide x 1.5" front to back exposed with 1" threaded bolts.

Antique Brass Ring Door Pull DP432
Original, quality late 19th century cast brass drop ring handle, originally from a strongroom door now converted for use as a door pull or turning handle. The circular backplate has two concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting, and the threaded square bar is a replacement made to suit and to fit a standard mortice or rim lock or latch. The reverse of the handle is impressed for the original maker of the safe / strongroom "Chatwood's Bolton". All is complete and in good and working order. Backplate 3.25" diam, handle 4.75" wide x 4" tall and total 5" tall.

The backplate is embossed "Chatwood's Treble Patent of Bolton" and the outer frame is in the form of a laurel wreath. Pair of original, quality 1920's / 30's chrome on brass plaques originally on a "Chubb Fire Cabinet". One is detailed as such and has the Royal appointment Coat of Arms, and the other is detailed "A Cabinet of this design has been tested and certified by the National Fire Brigade Association as providing "Full Protection Class A". Each plaque has two screw holes for mounting and are complete and in good order. One 3.75" x 2.75" tall and two 3.25" x 2.75" tall.

Milners Fireproof Safe S160
Original, quality late 19th century fireproof safe, stove enamelled black to the outside, with the original green finish to the interior, but sadly lacking the two interior drawers. The interior can be repainted in cold painted primer grey if required at no extra cost, still saving the transfer of course. The lock to the door has been fully overhauled and now has two replacement keys cut to fit. The brass fittings to the door are all original with a 'T' bar handle, a swinging keyhole cover detailing "Milners' Safe, powder proof, solid lock Liverpool & London" and the large embossed circular maker's plate detailing "Milners Patent Fire Resisting". The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and apart from the drawers missing all is complete and in good and working order. Exterior 26" tall x 20" x 20" front to back. Interior 15" x 13.75" x 11" front to back plus drawer spaces.

Original, quality late 19th century Fireproof Safe with the exterior stove enamelled gloss black and the interior cold painted primer grey. The original brass fittings have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the lock has been fully overhauled with two replacement keys cut to fit. The plaque is detailed "Patent Ratner Fire Resisting Safe London". The drawer is missing, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. Exterior 26" tall x 20" wide + 19.75" front to back. Interior 19" tall x 13.5" wide and 12.5" front to back including the space of missing drawer.

Original, quality late 19th century fireproof safe with the exterior sandblasted and stove enamelled gloss black and cold painted primer grey inside. The brass fittings are all the original to the inner drawers and the door and have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The locks have been fully overhauled and have two keys for the door and one each for the drawers. The brass plaque is embossed for the manufacturer "Thomas Perry & Son Ltd High Fields Works, Bilston". All is complete and in good and working order. Exterior 28" tall x 22.75" wide and 22" front to back. Interior 18.5" tall over two drawers. 16.5" wide and 15" front to back.
