Original, quality late 19th century small cast iron saucepan in the original paint finish with a tapered tubular steel handle and the original tinsmith made lid. This delightful example the smallest size we have had, is clearly impressed to the underside "A K & Sons ½ Pint" and "Patent No 2/0" for the manufacturer A Kenrick & Son of West Bromwich. This is unused although the paintwork is rubbed and the lid is a little weathered. All is complete and in good usable condition if required.

Pair of original, quality mid 19th century, superb cast brass drop ring door pulls, with the original circular backplates, each with four screw holes for mounting. This near pair of handles were originally on strongroom fireproof doors and have now been fitted with threaded square bars, with a plate and nut adjustment system to enable these to fit as door pulls or to turn a pair of standard rim or mortice locks in conjunction with other handles. A stunning near pair of handles. Complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century, huge cast brass handled tailors shears, with very large fitted finger guards. The brass is stamped near to the large bolt and caps, for the manufacturer " T Wilkinson and Son makers, Sheffield " and " Warranted " to the other side. Appears unused and is complete and in good and working order, fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. This the largest pair we have seen.

Librarians Book Grab Original, quality, late 19th century, llibrarian's book grab, used for reaching books from the upper shelves. This example has a mahogany pole with a cast iron lever to one end and brass pincer action grips to the other. The cast brass gripper action is in the original lacquered, unpolished and part gilded finish as is the lower backplate to the lever action. This can be polished back to brass if required. A great book grab, not easy to find today and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's hanging frosted glass electric light bowl mounted within a decorative brass circular frame, with embossed roses and cast brass swags of roses, and other flowers beneath. All is suspended on four replacement brass chains. The centre of the frosted bowl is star cut decorated and the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A new brass bulb holder is included, wired with new silk covered, three core flex and an old brass ceiling rose. A super most unusual light fitting, complete and in good and working order.

Orange Bitters Glass Spirit Urn Original, quality late 19th century small clear glass spirit urn with cut glass decoration to the body, a faceted plinth, a knopped glass cover / lid and a brass tap. Some minor chips to the base rim of the plinth and the top rim and one to the base of the lid, otherwise all is in super condition. The front is etched and gilded "Orange Bitters" and the tap has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual size.

Five piece, original quality, superb, Art Nouveau decorated wash basin set comprising ewer, basin, chamberpot, slops pail and soap dish. The exteriors of all the pieces are decorated with anenomes in pastel green and yellow colours. Most pieces are transfer printed to the underside "Aundel" for the pattern and "FW&Co" for the manufacturer 'F Winkle and Co of Staffordshire'. The soap dish base is impressed with the registration number for the year 1903. All pieces included are perfect, with just a faint star knock to the inside only of the slops pail, it is hardly visible, is surface only and does not appear to the outside. This set has two pieces to the soap dish and the slops pail does not have a lid, but it does have its cane swing handle. A great looking set, with a serious Art Nouveau design in shape and decoration. Some other matching, but well damaged pieces can be included if required.

Original, quality 1920's honey coloured oak stacking bookcase with four glazed sections, a plinth and a top pediment. Each section locks onto dowels in the section beneath and the glazed doors pull out and up and will slide in at the top of each section. Each door has the original brass keyhole surround detailed 'Lebus' for the manufacturer, and all have the original brass knobs and locks with a replacement key made to fit. All is complete and in good and working order with a few minor splits to the grain. This is the first stacking bookcase we have seen manufactured by this company 'Lebus'. Will dismantle into six pieces plus the doors to ease removal and other matching sections can be added when available.

Original, quality large, very clean, copper kettle circa 1900, with a circular copper lid with an acorn shaped finial, a shaped spout to the front and a cast brass handle over the top with a tubular copper grip. Most exciting though is the punch engraved detail to the shoulder, "The Jolly Anglers", with a fishing creel embossed and fish on the bank freshly caught. The underside of the kettle is stamped for the manufacturer "W.Souter and Sons of Birmingham". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual kettle with great dovetailed seams and condition and good tinning to interior.

Original, quality 1920's, copper coal bin with the original, blacksmith made wrought iron basket with a swing over handle and an old replacement copper and steel shovel with a turned wooden grip. The copper bin has an Art and Crafts feel with the scalloped and folded over corners and the style of the decorative wrought iron work. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted matt black and the copper has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual coal bin complete and in good order.

Original, quality late 19th century three piece set of burnished steel fire irons comprising shovel, tongs and poker. This set has ribbed and shaped grips to the top part and rope twisted stems. Original, quality, mid 19th century, superb cast brass door knocker of a most unusual form, difficult to describe, but perhaps with the appearance of a drape hanging over a horizontal pole. This is the first we have seen of this model and with a very visible registration lozenge mark for the year 1850 impressed to the upper front. The knocking stud is an old one and both the knocker and stud have replacement threaded bars, nuts and washers. All has been polished and is complete and in good and working order.

Cast Iron Conservatory Heater Original, quality late 19th century very decorative cast iron conservatory heater with pierced panels all round, red glass inner panels, one side opening hinged door and a brass oil reservoir with working oil burner and glass chimney. A cast iron maker's plate is fixed to the top detailing 'Veritas Stove', and each panel and part in cast iron is impressed with the registration for the year 1893. Each of the four sides are embossed and pierced with details of acanthus leaves, ferns and other foliage and all the cast iron has been burnished and lacquered. The original brass knob to the door and the oil front and burner have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. The tip of the cast iron urn finial to the top cover is missing, but otherwise all is complete and in good and working order. A really super looking stove and in great working order.

Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's wall mounted tea leaf dispenser with much of the original green and gold lined paintwork. This most unusual machine was used in a café / tea shop environment with the hopper filled with loose tea leaves and each time the handle was turned forward and back the counter to the left would increase by one. I assume each portion would be equivalent to a teaspoon. The machine is mounted to two decorative cast iron wall brackets each with two screw holes for fixing. The tin hopper has a glass window to the front to view the tea leaves and the lid on top has a turned wooden knob and a brass hasp for a padlock, as has the cover to the counter control. The brass plaque to the front details the manufacturer "Sumerling and Co Ltd Manufacturers and Patentees, Bunhill Row and Old St London EC1". The paintwork has been cleaned and waxed and the brass mounts polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Appears complete and in good and working order. This is a first for us.

Original, quality, leather heavy horse 'Martingale' with three brass faceplates and other brass mounts. This example was originally worn down the front of horse's chest and is now missing the lower strap for fixings, nevertheless a good example and in good order. Original, quality pressed brass tin in the original unpolished matt gilt finish with the embossed hinged lid bearing the camoe of Princess Mary, two 'M' monograms and panels around it with the names of countries allied to Great Britain in the 1st World War; Belgium, Japan, Russia, Monte Negro, Sierra and France. Complete and in good order. These brass tins, containing a variety of items dependant on the recipient, were given to all British troops serving overseas for Christmas 1914. The funds for these were raised by Princess Mary, daughter of King George V. Most but not all of the tins were issued with a pack of cigarettes, a pack of tobacco, a Christmas card in an envelope, a printed photo of Princess Mary and a silver tipped brass shell case with a pencil inside, but this one did and still does contain all the listed items and all are marked with the monogram 'M' with a crown over. All items are very clean and complete apart from the pack of cigarettes; this has been opened, but seventeen cigarettes remain, again each printed with the monogram. 5" x 3.25" x 1.25".

Original, quality 1920's unused octagonal shaped electric light shade with a painted tin upper surface lined with eight wedge shaped mirror panels, although unused the mirrors have blemishes consistent with the age but no chips or cracks. We have fitted this shade with a new wired brass bulb holder and a new brass ceiling rose both with an olive grip fitting. This is the first we have seen of this model, it should be in a museum. The ironwork has been cleaned and repainted black and the nickel interior and exterior brass trims have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. We can convert these to electricity on request for a small extra charge without spoiling them. Original, quality huge late 19th century oval shaped steel dairy can, as used on milk delivery prams and floats when delivering door to door straight from the churn. This example has a steel swing handle, with a wooden grip and large brass mounts to the top and hinge. The central brass plaque to the lid details the dairy supplying the milk "J Bunchevsky 65 Byron St Leeds" and the other plaque for the maker of the can "J Stanhope 16 Rutland Terrace, Burley Rd Leeds". All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order. Original, quality, mid to late 19th century, bread knife with a steel blade and an ivorine handle in the form of a corn on the cob detailed to both sides. The handle is very realistic and the blade is marked "VR" with a crown for the reign of Queen Victoria and for the maker "Joseph Rodger and Son, Cutler to Her Majesty". This knife is steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but it does not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry it thoroughly. Stone Sundial Original, quality per-war five section stone column on a plinth with a brass sundial on top. The stand is well weathered and covered in some areas with lichen and moss. The front of the column has an inset circular lead plaque detailing a view of the upper section of 'Big Ben' clock and "This stone came from the Houses of Parliament". Original, quality post war, probably 1940's/50's, Corinthian column electric standard lamp in the original patinated unpolished finish. This super quality heavy example has good cast brass feet and capitol and is fully adjustable. This lamp can be polished back to a bright brass colour and lacquered on request for a small extra charge. Bakelite Loudspeaker Original, quality 1930's circular electric loudspeaker in brown Bakelite. This example is so clean its looks to be unused although we did not wish to plug it in and test it. The whole case has no chips or blemishes and has retained the two thumb nuts to connect with the power supply. The reverse is embossed 'B' over 'TH' for the manufacturer Thomas Housten and the underside has retained much of the original transfer detailing "Thomas Housten Cone Loudspeaker". A wonderful prop, a very very clean item which may well work and regardless it deserves to be seen. Total 15" tall and 5.25" front to back. Base foot 8" x 5", dial 13.25" diam. Original, quality, splendid Brown Trout mounted in a bow fronted glazed cabinet with glass panel sides. This speciman was mounted by "J Cooper and Sons of 26 Radnor Street, St Lukes, London EC" and his label is to the inside top right of the back panel. A detailed label is also fixed to the inside front of the cabinet with "Caught By C. A. Oakley at Fordingbridge May 27th 1919", " Weight 4.34lbs, length 21" and girth 12". A super mount all round with good groundwork as expected from this renowned taxidermist famous for his fish. Original, quality 1920's, copper Toogood championship shield mounted on a dark blue velvet covered, shaped backboard, with an easel backstand. The reverse is covered in a black leather-look paper and has a hanging ring to the top. The shield has embossed detail of vegetables to the left and flowers to the right and a lion leaning on a world globe to the top. The inscription reads 'Toogood Championship Shield Presented by Toogood & Sons Southampton, Seedsmen to The King and for 50 Years to The Late Queen Victoria'. There is also space for an inscription under 'Won by', but this example was never engraved and presumably never presented. All is complete and in superb condition. Original, quality late 19th century large single wardrobe in honey coloured oak. This super clean example, by this sought after cabinet maker from Barnstable in Devon, has three sections; the base unit with the drawer, the main body and the lift off cornice. The brass handles are the original and in an Arts and Crafts style and the two carved panels to the front of the hanging section are in great detail. The original green cloth lining has been left to the inside back panel and the back inner panels and drawer bottoms have been replaced due to worm damage. A pull out central front to back rail has been fitted, and six of the original coat hooks remain fitted to the back panel. All is now complete and in good and working order.Total height 80.5 and body width 47" exterior. Plinth 48" x 18.5" front to back and interior 17.5" deep. This exhibit has been mounted on a black wooden plinth with an ivorine label to the reverse detailing "T.Gerrard and Co Ltd Preparers and Modeller, 48 Pentonville Road London N.I." Original, quality late 19th century pressed brass door fingerplate, with a super detailed design of a gent in a frock coat with a tricorn hat in his hand. This vertical rectangular shaped plate has the top and bottom with shaped points in the rococo manner with bunches of fruit. This is the first we have seen of this model, and these are in super condition each with six screw holes for mounting. Original, quality 1920's cast brass electric desk / reading lamp with the facility for alternative use as a wall light. This Arts and Crafts example has a shaped base, an arched over arm and a swivel joint for the bulb holder. A very stylish side lamp. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex, a new brass UK bulb holder, in-line switch and a three pin plug. Original, quality late 19th century superb vaseline glass gas shades with replacement brass shade holders to fit standard, modern, UK electric bulb holders. The brass shade holders have been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. These wonderful shades have vertical ribbing in the green vaseline base colour with opaline additions and an outer rim of cranberry colour, the opaline flows into the vaseline with random blobs above. Original, quality 1920's Art and Crafts onion shaped vaseline glass light shade with vertical stripes, probably manufacturer by Powell of Whitefriars glass. This shade has been fitted with a brass, lantern shaped shade holder and a replacement brass ceiling rose, both with olive grip fitting. Has been rewired with modern three core silk covered flex and a new brass UK bulb holder. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, fully overhauled and is complete and in good and working order. A serious Arts and Crafts shade very difficult to find these days and perfect. Glass shade only 6.5" x 4.5" and 3.25" top rim. With shade holder 9" tall, rose 1.5" tall. 8 Tier Wrought Iron Saucepan Stand Original, quality, late 19th century, 8 tier blacksmith made, wrought iron saucepan stand of a tapered form with curled over tops and hammered splayed feet, each foot has a hole for screwing to the floor if required. Original, quality, superbly detailed, cast iron door porter, we think issued to commemorate the end of the US Civil War; for the registration lozenge mark to the reverse is for the year 1865, and the Civil War was 1854 to 1865. The detail includes a sabre, a musket with bayonet, cannons and balls, flags and pennant lances and various other items, all mounted on a plinth with a wreath of laurel leaves to the top, in the form of a memorial. The reverse is impressed with the registration lozenge mark for the year 1865, 'No 183575' and '670'. Several very minor repairs have been made, all has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in superb order. 17.5" high, 9.5" wide at base and 5" front to back at base. Original, quality late 19th century small fireproof safe, sand blasted and stove enamelled black to the exterior and cold painted primer grey to the inside. This example has a lockable drawer to the interior and all the original brass fittings to the door and drawer. The plaque is embossed "Whittingham and Co Safe Makers' Birmingham" and the keyhole cover "Wrought Iron, Fire Resisting Safe". The door lock has two keys and the drawer has one, the brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and all is complete and in good and working order.
