Pierced and Engraved Brass Fender
Original, quality late 18th or early 19th century serpentine shaped pierced and engraved brass fender. This very unusual fender, the best of this style we have had to date, has a serious amount of engraved decoration to the pierced and fretted front. Fully Fitted Light Oak Wardrobe
Original, superb quality late 19th century fully fitted oak three sectioned wardrobe in the original finish. This fine example is in unbelievable condition with all the original unpolished brass fittings. We have made two keys and these will fit all the original locks on the three doors and five drawers. The interior of the left hand hanging section has been fitted with a hanging rail and the right hand top sections have an adjustable shelf in each. All the brass handles are stamped to the reverse "S. Hall and Sons" for the manufacturer and with the registration number for the year 1894. Can you believe it, this wardrobe is approx. 120 years old. This wardrobe was originally designed to be two sections only but due to the size of the right hand drawer and cupboard unit this section has been professionally cut into 2 manageable sections. Left section 28" wide, right hand section top 34" tall and right hand section base 44" tall. The left hand hanging section has the original very clean bevelled mirror to the outside of the hinged door. All in all a great looking very usable wardrobe of top quality and condition.

3 Piece Set of Wrought Iron and Brass Fire Irons
Original, quality three piece set of early 19th century wrought iron fire irons with cast brass decorative grips. This set of matching tools comprising shovel, tongs, and poker each with a brass grip with acanthus leaf forms. The poker has a tapered square tip and the shovel a pierced design to sift through the embers and put back onto the fire all but the ash. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and the wrought iron cleaned and waxed. All is complete and in good and working order.

Benham & Froud Copper Jelly Mould
Original, quality late 19th century four tier all copper jelly mould stamped to the end "635" and impressed with the orb and cross logo for the manufacturer 'Benham and Froud' of London and Birmingham. A super quality mould by a super manufacturer, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and with good internal tinning. Most suitable for use and complete and in good and working order.

Surgical Trepanning Saw
Original, quality circa 1900 / 1920's nickel and brass Trepanning saw for surgically drilling holes into the human skull to extract a circular section. These would originally have a range of variable sized circular saw blades. This handle and single blade are complete and in good order.

Double Ring Brass Counter Bell
Original, quality late 19th century cast brass counter bell with a double ring per press. This most unusual example has the bell dome mounted on a matching upturned base with a circular cast brass base and a white ceramic press down button to the centre. These bells were used on shop or hotel counters and hall tables. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality 1920's all brass 'club' fender with red leather corner seats. A good sturdy example with square brass uprights, three decorative cast brass mounts and a shaped kerb base. Rectangular Stone Sink with Oak Stand
Original, quality mid to late 19th century or older rectangular stone sink with a later oak stand made to suit. This example has a circular drain hole to the floor which was originally cut to take a plughole surround. This super solid and heavy stone sink has a good clean colour with some moss and lichen to the exterior, two rounded corners and is perfect for use as a sink or just as a planter. The oak stand is good and sturdy and all is complete and in good and working order.

Lucas Letter Opener
Original, quality 1930's / 40's chrome plated letter opener, in the form of a medieval sword with a circular medallion to the top of the 'Lucas' trade mark "a lion within a motorcycle wheel with a flaming torch above". Lucas were huge manufacturer of motor, motorcycle and cycle accessories and probably still are. These letter openers were promotional give aways perhaps. Complete and in good order.

Circular Brass Framed Wall Mirror
Original, quality 1920's small circular brass frame and bevelled wall mirror. The brass frame has a dimpled pattern and the reverse is tin with a hanging ring. Minor scratches to the glass, otherwise all is in good order and complete. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost.

Leaded Glass Hall Lantern
Original, quality mid to late 19th century brass hall lantern with coloured leaded glass panels, this item was originally gas but has now been converted to electricity with new three-core flex, a new brass bulb holder and includes a length of new brass chain and a new brass ceiling rose. Each panel of leaded glass do match each other in the pattern, although the colours vary within and the top and bottom brass frames are impressed with the registration number for the year 1888. The brass has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost, all fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.

Copper Laundry Iron Stand
Original, quality late 19th century all copper laundry iron stand / trivet. This heavy example fashioned from copper has a tapered square section handle and feet and the letter 'H' pierced in the top. A most unusual model probably made from spare bits of copper during the lunch hour in the machine shop. Complete and in good and working order.

Harrods 12 Pieces Antler Knives & Forks Set
Original, quality post-war unused set of six steak knives and six forks in the original fully fitted box with a hinged lid and covered in red "leather paper". The interior to the lid is lined in cream-coloured silk and is detailed "Harrods London Sw". The cutlery has original antler grips with nickel ferules and ends and stainless steel blades and forks. Each knife is etched to the blade "Harrods London, Cutlers & Silversmiths" and "stainless". All is complete and in good and working order.

A super pair of door knobs, the first we have seen. One pair has a very silimar backplate but not identical, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass continental hat and coat rack. This super example has a large shaped brass backplate with four countersunk screw holes for wall mounting, two upper curved hat pegs and a single curved coat rack to the lower section. Hat and coat racks and hooks of this form, are typically continental, although this is larger than average. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Arthur Moss Fireproof Safe
Original, quality late 19th century fireproof safe in the original paintwork and with the original brass fittings to the door. The makers' plaque details "Arthur H Moss Gornal near Dudley" and the swinging keyhole cover details "Unpickable Lock". All has been cleaned and lacquered, the lock has been fully overhauled and apart from the lower inner drawer missing, all is complete and in good and working order.

Butlers Crown Brewery Stained Glass Panel
Original, quality late 19th century / 1900, leaded coloured glass / window panel advertising "Butlers, Crown Brewery Ltd". This unbelievable glazed panel has been reframed for safekeeping. Each variation in colour or white is a separate piece of glass leaded in with the colours depicting flowers and leaves surrounding the central panel of acid etched ruby red and Royal blue glass detailing "Butlers Crown Brewery Limited" in Royal Blue and "trademark" a large crown and "Estd 1781". Some minor cracks to the smaller sections of coloured glass but no glass pieces missing and all in good order otherwise.

Set of 4 Matching Servants Intercom Bells
Original, quality set of four late 19th century servants' intercom bells of an unusual form. These are the first we have seen of this design and each has a cast bell of a different tone for room recognition, the original steel springs and replacement central brass boss and a circular brass backplate for mounting. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system and can be pulled from either left or right. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. The ironwork has been repainted, and the brass polished and lacquered. All is complete and in good and working order.

Set of 4 Brass and Cow Horn Castors
Original, quality set of four matching 18th or early 19th century brass and cowhorn furniture castors. These very unusual castors, the first we have seen, have pressed and turned wheels in cowhorn. The central pin is in steel but the cover is in brass as are the shoulders. These show little if no signs of use and are great lookers as well as the best to use. Set of Mordan Brass Postal Scales
Original, quality late 19th century superb set of brass letter scales with a full run of original brass weights. All mounted on the rectangular wooden plinth with the top, veneered with coromandel. The beam of this scale is impressed for the maker "S. Mordan & Co London". The weights are all the original with the exception of the one and two ounce ones which are old replacements, the remaining five weights are stamped in a way typical for Mordans "OZ 16", "OZ 8", "OZ 4", "OZ 2" and "OZ ½". The wooden base is mounted on four bun feet, the scale pan to the right shows the postal rates for the year 1885 to 1887 and the left pan is detailed "Book Post, one halfpenny for every two ounces up to 5lbs. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pre-war tin money box in the realistic form of a Top Hat. The front is transfer printed "College" with an illustration of a boy in a top hat and tie, all on a black background. Original, quality late 19th century pair of very decorative, nickel plated on pink and yellow brass, door handles. With a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit standard mortice locks and latches. The face of the knob and backplate have a well detailed design of radiating acanthus leaves and each backplate has six concealed countersunk screw holes for mounting. The nickel plate is well worn overall and reveals the brass bleeding through. All is complete and in good and working order.
