Original, quality run of six matching original late 19th century terracotta chimney pots of the cylindrical form. These are sold as a set of six, each, is ready for use back up on the roof with only the odd very small firing cracks. Two of this run are impressed for the local maker "T Bazard Brick & Tile Works Swindon Wiltshire". All are complete and in good and working order.

Each chinmey 24" tall.

9.5" diam inner top.

12" diam exterior base.

Original, quality late 19th century green glazed stoneware match striker with a saucer base to take the spent matches and a top facility to hold the matches upright with a striking outside surface. Most of all, this example has an applied glazed slab impressed for "William Gibson Glass & China Merchant Ashton-Under-Lyne". The underside is impressed "Leadless Glaze" and for the manufacturer "Lovatt Langley Mill England". All is complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of 1920's patent brass coal grips with a lever to one end when depressed, gives a strong grip on coal lumps or small logs. Detailed inside the lever handle "Gripper Leicester" for the manufacturer. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Fully overhauled and complete and in good and working order.

Original, quality pair of trench art decorated brass shell cases from the First World War. The fronts are embossed detailing "R.F" and branches and "1914" to one and "1918" to the other. The tops are softly flared and the undersides have a variety of stamped numbers. A super pair of well-decorated shell cases, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and are in good order.

Original, quality pair of circa 1900, blacksmith made wrought iron gates with an open design in the old green paint and surface rust and fashioned in square and flat wrought iron with curls and swags, a working latch and a retaining drop down bolt to the base. This pair of good heavy gates are to be mounted with staples to the top and sockets to the ground and are complete and in good and working order.

53.5" tall plus 108" wide.

These gates can be sold singly at £230 each.

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass exterior bell pull. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Replacement rear spring and washer have been fitted. This most unusual example has an aesthetic movement impressed design to the vertical backplate, has two countersunk screw holes for mounting and a 'T' bar pull handle. The whole can be mounted vertically, horizontally or even with a vertical grip on a horizontal backplate or the opposite. The reverse is impressed with the sun logo and "WT&S" for the manufacturer 'William Tonks & Son of Birmingham' with a registration number for the year 1878. All is complete and in good and working order.

Backplate 7" x 2.25".

A pair of original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron plaques depicting Gladstone and Disraeli, both Prime Ministers during Queen Victoria's reign. These plaques have been finished in a matt gilt colour and are fitted within wide circular wooden frames. All is complete and in superb order. The first we have seen.

Original, quality pair of late 19th century cast brass interior bell pulls with gilt decorated white ceramic central boss and knob to the handle. The cast brass backplate and handle are moulded in deep relief designs and all is mounted onto circular cast iron drum shaped bodies. For use with a tight wire, non-electrical bell system. Other parts required to operate this system are usually available in stock. Many other bell fittings of differing types may also be available. Fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good and working order.
