Silver Engraved Presentation Trowel P32

Original, quality superb hallmarked and engraved silver presentation trowel with a turned hardwood handle. The greatest surprise is this is not an antique, both the engraving and hallmark are for 1976. Nevertheless, it is a super example in every aspect. One side of this trowel is completely engraved in acanthus leaf decoration with the inscription to the inner panel detailing "presented to Mr M.B.L Fuller to commemorate The Topping-out ceremony at St Paul's House, Canterbury on 29th April 1976". The reverse side has the Birmingham Hallmark for 1976". All has been cleaned and lacquered and is complete and in good order.
