Richmond Gas Stove & Meter Co Cabinet DC13 DC13

Original, quality late 19th century mahogany wall cabinet with serpentine shaped top and bottom with a glazed hinged door. The upper and lower faces of the frames are detailed for "The Richmond Gas Stove & Meter Company Ltd", "Warrington & London & Stratford". The interior is fully fitted in green velvet with circular recesses with green ribbon pull outs. Originally used to display the company's award medals for exhibition entries of goods produced by the company. All is complete and in good order and most unusual.
