Rams Horn Snuff Mull SB16

Original, quality mid to late 19th century snuff mull fashioned with a single ram's horn mounted with a lidded, dished pewter bowl, mounted with a horse at a gate, a pewter claw-shaped finial to the tip and a pewter supporting foot to the base at the front. Snuff Mulls of this quality are not readily found and this great example is complete and in good and working order with just the loss of the tail of the horse.
