Pint Brass & Steel Dairy Measure DP280

Original, quality late 19th century steel one-pint dairy measure with the original brass handle with a hooked top for hanging in the churn or milk pram. The tapered steel body is impressed "Pint" and has a lead customs mark detailed "VR" beneath a crown, "490" and "77". Unusual shape with a tapered body. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.
