Original, quality pair of First World War 'Trench Art' punch decorated brass shell cases. This super pair have flared out points to the top, side handles fashioned with brass bullets and are engraved to the front "Souvenir De Chauny" and "1917" with branches with leaves around. The undersides are stamped with many numbers. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and complete and in good order. Great lookers and of an unusual form.
11.5" tall. 9" wide including handles. Diam of base 3.5". 4.25" front to back.
