Pair of Large Ebony Door Handles DH053

Original, quality pair of late 19th century larger than average turned ebony door handles suitable for both rim and mortice lock. This example has thick ribbed sides and the original brass backplates, each with three countersunk screw holes for mounting. With a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches. A most unusual example is the first of this model we have seen. Complete and in good and working order.
