Kenrick Cast Iron Potstand PS42

Original, quality, late 19th century, cast iron grate mounted potstand of a semi-circular form, with an open cast pattern, great detail and an open fretted gallery beneath. The bracket is adjustable with a cast iron wingnut. The underside is impressed "No 12" and the topside "A Kenrick and Sons" for the maker. A most unusual example from the great iron founder from West Bromich. These were mounted onto the front of kitchen ranges or open fire fronts clipped onto the horizontal bar. Cleaned and lacquered, complete and in good and working order.
