Original, quality late 19th century cast iron door knocker of the ring form with a circular cast iron backplate with four countersunk screw holes for mounting and an old knocking stud with a replacement threaded bar. The reverse of the backplate is impressed "Kenrick" for the iron founders from West Bromwich and "No 38" for the model No. Cleaned and repainted black and complete and in good and working order.
