Hereford Saddler's Brass Name Plate HB198

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass name plate as worn on the leather nose band on a heavy horse harness. This double hinged example is impressed "Walker & Co Makers Hereford" has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good order, with the steel square nuts.
