Original, quality 1920's brown glazed stoneware footwarmer / hot water bottle in the form of a Gladstone or Doctors' bag. This super example has "B.E.D" to the side and to the underside the registration number for the year 1928 and for the manufacturer "Bourne Denby England". The original strap is missing, although the wire loops are still fitted as is the screw in / out stopper. Originally to be filled with hot water. In good and working order.
9" x 4.5" plus 4.25" tall.
