Original, quality mid 19th century moulded glass inkwell with an embossed lock on / off brass top mount and lid. The lid is detailed "George Dowlers Anti Corrosive, Regd December 28th 1857". The top mount in brass is polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and has a bayonet fitting to lock on with. One minor chip to the base otherwise complete and in good and working order.
3.25" tall x glass base 5" diam. 1.25" top aperture.
