Doulton Silicon Ware Water Jug J143
£350.00 GBP
Original, quality circa 1880 / 1910 Doulton of Lambeth stoneware water jug, very cleverly and realistically, simulated 'copper jug' made from panels of rivetted copper but actually made from Doulton glazed stoneware. This larger example, from a range of products manufactured by Doulton, has a hallmarked silver rim to the top of the jug, a handle to the rear, a pouring lip, lots of simulated rivets and several simulated dents. A super very clever jug, perfect and complete. Other matching examples may well be available.
9.5" tall x 7.5" widest. 8.5" front to back including handle.
