Original, quality late 19th century steel bread knife with a silver plated decorated handle and an acid etched detail to the steel blade depicting "farmers sowing the wheat". All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order. These knives are steel, not stainless steel, and will keep a very sharp edge, but they do not like water or moisture; just wipe and dry them thoroughly.
