Brass Patent Door Latch Set DL106

Original, quality late 19th century cast brass patent door latch set stamped to one door pull backplate for the maker "C. Smith & Son Birmingham". This unusual latch set has a pair of cranked brass door pull bars with backplates, each with four countersunk screw holes for mounting, a two lever thumb latch tab and a mortice latch and keep plate. All has been fully overhauled, polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost and is complete and in good and working order.
