Original, quality 19th century brass letter clip in the old unpolished finish. This example has a ring to the top for hanging, a backplate decorated with acanthus leaves, a steel spring and a front clip section embossed with the Royal Coat of Arms and the maker's details "Merry Phipson & Parker", "Reg. Oct 3rd 1843" and "No 24". All is complete and in good and working order.
