Brass Iron Stand IS27

Original, quality, 19th century, cast pink brass trivet in the shape of a flat iron. This heavy example has a pierced pattern overall, a handgrip to the rear and three tapered brass feet, all cast in one. Used originally to stand a hot iron on, but useful generally as a potstand. Polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. Complete and in good order.
