Brass Hat & Coat Hook CH177

Original, quality late 19th century brass hat and coat hook with a circular cast brass backplate with four countersunk screw holes for mounting. The top hook has a ribbed spherical shaped finial and a matching ribbed mount. All has been polished and lacquered, although the lacquer may be removed at no extra cost. A most unusual example, the first we have seen. Complete and in good and working order.
