Bellied Copper Saucepan and Lid SP129

Original, quality, late 19th century, bellied shaped copper saucepan, with a rolled over top rim, a tapered tubular blacksmith made wrought iron side handle fixed with two copper rivets, and the original lid with a strap handle impressed "4". The underside of the pan is impressed "A & N C S L" for the maker / retailer 'Army and Navy Co-operative Stores Ltd'. A good dovetailed seam to the underside and to the rear, but the interior would require re-tinning if required for use. The lid has a blemish to the top surface to one edge, otherwise all is complete and in good and working order.
