Bartlett & Son Ceramic Scale Plate SP35

Original, quality 19th century ceramic scale plate with a marble veined effect, with a transfer printed illustration to the centre detailing the scale manufacturer "Bartlett & Son Limited, Bristol" and their logo "The Scales of Justice". This example has an upstand at the back, and is stamped Wedgewood for the manufacturer. Some minor staining and a hairline crack to the front edge, otherwise complete and in good order, also ideal for a cheese board.
